BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#TOMMYSHONOUR Behind-the-Scenes Special Featuring PGA Tour star @JordanSpieth

Gutta Percha Productions LLC is pleased to announce the special broadcast of “Far and Sure: An Intimate Behind the Scenes Look at the Making of the Feature Film Tommy’s Honour” on NBC, Saturday, March 25th immediately preceding NBC’s coverage of the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play Championship at 1:30 PM EST (12:30pm CST). The special takes an in-depth look into the making of the award-winning feature film, Tommy’s Honour, based on the 2007 Herbert Warren Wind USGA Book of the Year of the same name.

The “Making Of” special includes gorgeous footage of Scotland; interviews with the cast, director Jason Connery, producers and key crew. This inside glimpse will allow viewers to experience the fine details and creative elements giving authenticity to the golf scenes and overall look and feel of the film. PGA Tour superstar Jordan Spieth and his dad Shawn are dressed in the wardrobe of the “Morris era,” and play with replica hickory clubs and Gutta Percha balls. Producer Keith Bank noted, “It was both interesting and enlightening to see a player of Jordan’s caliber swinging the hickory clubs while dressed in the confining coat and garb of the day. He said he gained just a little more respect for the players of the Morris era”. Be sure to tune in to hear their commentary about what it would have been like to play in the era that ushered in the modern game of golf.

Set against the early days of the sport and stunning landscape of Scotland, TOMMY’S HONOUR, the 2016 BAFTA Scotland Best Feature Film, is based on the intimate and powerfully moving true story of the challenging relationship between “Old” Tom Morris (BAFTA Scotland winner Peter Mullan) and “Young” Tommy Morris (Jack Lowden, DUNKIRK, '71, DENIAL), the dynamic father-son team pioneers who ushered in the modern era of golf.

As their fame grew exponentially, Tom and Tommy, Scotland’s golfing royalty, were touched by drama and personal tragedy. At first matching his father’s success, Tommy’s talent and fame grew to outshine his father’s stellar playing record and accomplishments as founder of the Open Championship in 1860, and as a course designer, the local caddie master, greens keeper and club & ball maker. In contrast to his public persona, Tommy’s inner turmoil ultimately led him to rebel against the aristocracy who gave him opportunity, led by The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews chief Alexander Boothby (Sam Neill, JURASSIC PARK, THE PIANO), and against the parents who shunned his passionate relationship with his girlfriend-then-wife Meg Drinnen (Ophelia Lovibond, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, MAN UP).

Legendary CBS Sportscaster Jim Nantz said about the film, "Tommy's Honour is a beautiful tribute to the game. I felt like we were dropped out of a time machine and given the chance "to feel" what golf was like over a century and half ago. For those of us stateside, the extra U in Honour is for YOU to make sure to see this most authentic cinematic achievement."

Golf Hall of Famer and two-time Masters Champion Ben Crenshaw added, “Tommy’s Honour is a story of champions, a story of faith and a story of pathos. I hope everybody embraces this film, because it is a poignant story that is so beautifully depicted”.

The film will be released nationwide in theaters by Roadside Attractions on April 14th. For more information and to view the movie trailer, visit www.TommysHonour.com.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit...
