First Poster For The New #STARTREK Series

Eugene “Rod” Roddenberry, who is the son of  Star Trek creator, Gene Roddenberry, and also the president of Roddenberry Entertainment, along with Roddenberry Entertainment COO, Trevor Roth, will also exec-produce CBS’ upcoming brand new STAR TREK series, along with Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, and Bryan Fuller who serves as the series’ showrunner. Roddenberry Entertainment will co-produce with CBS Television Studios, Secret Hideout and Living Dead Guy Productions

No plot and setting details have been revealed yet about this series.
But legendary Nicholas Meyer who gave us “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” and “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country” and “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home” will be involved in consulting-producing and writing capacity.

Bryan Fuller is the co-creator and exec-producer and showrunner of CBS’ brand new STAR TREK series which will premiere January 2017.

Fuller had writing gigs for “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and “Star Trek: Voyager” and so the following info is kinda like Fuller coming home

This new show will feature new characters and new civilizations, and it has been picked up straight to series at CBS but the premiere and subsequent episodes will air on its digital, live streaming and VOD platform, CBS All Access, so ya, you would have to pay $5.99 per month to enjoy it.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce.
