BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Spielberg and Trevorrow Looking Ahead To Next Project

Collaboration Continues With “Intelligent Life”

Story by David Clark

Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow, the brains behind Jurassic World, are teaming up again on a new project titled Intelligent Life. At this time details are still limited but it would appear that Spielberg and Trevorrow have developed a solid working relationship and want to carry that into a new intellectual property.

What is known about the movie thus far falls within the science-fiction genre and is loosely based upon an incomplete Trevorrow project titled The Ambassador. How true the new movie will be to this earlier project is still unclear.

The Ambassador was never made but the plot involved an alien first-contact specialist who falls in love with a unique woman who is not of this world. Originally planned as a sequel to his successful indie movie Safety Not Guaranteed, Intelligent Life will likely be quite a departure from Jurassic World for Spielberg and Trevorrow.

Other individuals slated to be a part of the movie are Derek Connelly and Frank Marshall. Connelly worked with Trevorrow on Safety Not Guaranteed, The Ambassador, and on Jurassic World. Marshall has also worked with this crew as a producer on Jurassic World.

This is an interesting mix of people. Spielberg and Marshall are well known and established individuals in the film industry and within the science-fiction genre. Between the two of them is a resume that includes Back To The Future, Signs, Indiana Jones, the Bourne series, and that is only naming a few select titles. On the other side of the coin sits Trevorrow and Connelly. To date they have collaborated on one successful indie movie and one big budget film in Jurassic World. Other than that their bodies of work are fairly slim and unproven. Hopefully the exuberance of being new to the big screen arena mixed with the creativity and brilliance of Spielberg and Marshall will make for another outstanding film.

Perhaps most interesting of all, Intelligent Life has been picked up by DreamWorks Studios. DreamWorks has been in the news a lot recently for all the wrong reasons. The company needs some success and the sooner the better. There are never enough science fiction movies around and hopefully the all-star team assigned to Intelligent Life delivers.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim
