INTERSTELLAR finds mankind at a tough crossroads. The Earth, overcrowded, polluted and resource-strapped, is dying and unless we find somewhere else to live, the human race will perish with it. So despite a serious lack of funds and manpower, NASA and a group of scientists come up with a daring plan: to exploit wormhole travel and find fresh habitable planets.
Picked to lead this dangerous expedition is Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a talented engineer and former pilot who realises he may have to sacrifice precious time with his family in order to save us all. And finding a new planet won’t be as easy as picking one out of a catalogue…
With Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, John Lithgow, Ellen Burstyn, Mackenzie Foy, Wes Bentley, David Oyelowo, Elyes Gabel and Bill Irwin among the cast.
