BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Heather Graham Returns For Hangover Part III

While she may have sat out last year's trip to Thailand, "The Hangover" thesp Heather Graham is set to return for Todd Phillips' comedy "The Hangover Part III," which distributor Warner Bros. will co-finance with Legendary Pictures.

In the original blockbuster, Graham played Jade, a Las Vegas stripper who marries Ed Helms' character, Stu. "The Hangover Part II" followed Helms and co-stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha as they traveled to Thailand for Stu's wedding to Lauren (Jamie Chung), leaving Jade to stay behind stateside.

While plot details remain under wraps for the latest sequel, it's safe to say a reunion between Stu and Jade is on the itinerary. Graham joins fellow franchise veterans Mike Epps and Ken Jeong in the ensemble cast, which is expected to add several well-known actors in cameo roles.

In addition to co-writing the script with Craig Mazin, Phillips will also produce with Daniel Goldberg, while Legendary topper Thomas Tull will exec produce. WB will release "The Hangover Part III" on May 24, 2013.

Graham, who recently starred in "Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer," will soon be seen alongside Ashley Hinshaw and James Franco in Stephen Elliott's indie drama "About Cherry," which IFC Films releases next month. Thesp also co-stars opposite Zac Efron and Dennis Quaid in Ramin Bahrani's drama "At Any Price," which Sony Pictures Classics recently acquired in advance of its festival screenings in Venice and Toronto.

Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure
