BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Ashton Kutcher To Play Steve Jobs

Given that this story appeared on April 1, you might be forgiven for thinking that it was all a big joke, but it’s true: Ashton Kutcher is now attached to play Steve Jobs in Joshua Michael Stern’s Jobs.

It’s actually not as much of a stretch as you might imagine, especially since Kutcher as he is now bears a resemblance to a younger Jobs. And while he may not exactly boast the most range among his acting generation, he has pulled off a few decent performances, including Spread and his turn in Emilio Estevez’ Bobby.

But this will be a new challenge entirely, since Matt Whiteley’s script tracks Jobs from his early bohemian days through his early struggles and eventual triumph at Apple. We hope he’s already practicing his “Just one more thing…” line.

Jobs’ life is certainly good fodder for a movie – a driven, ambitious, radical thinker, Jobs was rightly praised for the vision he brought to not only technology but also art, helping the shepherd Pixar’s difficult birth. But he gained notoriety for his pushy management style and foul moods.

Stern, who last directed Swing Vote, is looking to start shooting next month, when Kutcher will be on hiatus from Two And A Half Men.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
