BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Fast Five Movie Review By: SandwichJohn

Fast Five Movie Review
By: SandwichJohn

I was walking into the theater not knowing how I felt about this Franchise, same movie just told in a different way. I was making fun of my friends that were so excited for this movie to come out. Maybe in the same way they were laughing when I lined out overnight to watch the Star Wars films.

All I have to say is Fast Five blew me away. Forget that it is apart of the Fast And Furious franchise. This movie could hold it's own. Can't you tell how excited I am.

The movie is a guys wet dream, Hot Cars, Hot Woman (Yes, ladies Hot Guys too) and more action than you could ask for. We all know going into this film that there weren't going to be any kind of Oscar caliber performances from the actors. But if action or driving could grant you an Oscar then everyone in this film would be getting one.

There are a few thing I need to point out before I go on with the review, there are cars in this movie I have never seen or heard of before, how they tore apart the city (amazing driving) and the confrontation between Hobbs (The Rock) & Dom (Diesel) reminded me of of the fight scenes between Rocky vs Apollo, just not stop action. For two big time stars to put away their egos and do it for the fans was great. When we were all little who didn't wish they could have seen Stallone vs Schwarzenegger go at it on the big screen. When you watch the movie you will understand what I mean.

Make sure you stay around until the end of the credits for a Huge surprise. Don't be like those fools that leave right after the movie is done. Haven't we learned by now?

Movie starts off with Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster) breaking Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) out of a prison transport bus heading to Lompoc prison (if you know me then u know I use to run a store in that town) While they are on the run they find their way to Rio and end up hooking up with Vince (Matt Schulze), and under take a quick and easy job according to Vince.  Nothing in life is easy, the job goes sideways when they realize that the cars were seize by the DEA and being transported out of town. The Ford GT40 is the car that Mia escapes in while Dom and Brian caught in the end by Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), who is owner of the car.

The pair escape and end up at the safe house trying to figure out what or why Reyes wanted the Ford GT40 back so bad.

Who does the DEA send in when they need to find their man? DSS agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson.)
With the help of local rookie cop Elena Neves (Elsa Pataky) they locate the safe house where they discover a torn apart Ford GT40. But something is missing.

In the mean time once Dom and Brian figure out what Reyes wanted out of the car so bad, they decide it's time to put together a team for the Heist of a lifetime. We get to see many of the different cast members from the previous Fast & Furious films. Han Lue (Sung Kang), Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Tej (Ludacris) and Gisele (Gal Gadot)

The heist begins the following day as the gang breaks into the police station where the secret item is. (I don't want to give away anything until you see it) And this is where the crazy street destruction and awesome driving begins and ends. This is where I am going to end my review. I really want you to go see the film and be surprised.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure
