BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Lethal Weapon Reboot On It's Way

Why oh Why Hollywood do you keep doing this to me. Rebooting or Remaking a great franchise?  So the question is are you ready for a Lethal Weapon reboot? Those are some of the few high-profile titles now getting a new lease on life at Warner Bros. due to the year-end departure of longtime studio executive Jessica Goodman. During her 13-year tenure, the executive vp oversaw such projects as Watchmen, Training Day and the upcoming Green Lantern. Since her departure, the studio’s top brass has reassigned her portfolio among several other execs. In the file were long-in-development remakes of The Dirty Dozen and Oh, God, as well as Tarzan -- titles that have been active in recent years but haven’t come together with the right talent to score the elusive green light. Also in the mix are a reboots of the Mel Gibson-Danny Glover franchise Lethal Weapon. The properties will now get fresh and hungry eyes -- and talent agents are already chatting up the potential projects and listing clie

Wonder Woman Show Coming To NBC

With all this superhero talk this week why not get more news. The ol’ girl may fly this fall after all: NBC has picked up the Wonder Woman pilot from David E. Kelley . Ironically, NBC was the final network to pass on bringing back the superhero over a week ago, but that was before the new regime was officially in place in light of the impending Comcast takeover. Robert Greenblatt is now spearheading primetime as chairman. (On Thursday, head of programming Angela Bromstad announced she was leaving). And now let the casting rumors begin. The pilot’s cost may not be a concern to Greenblatt, the wunderkind who revitalized Showtime with critical faves like Dexter and Weeds. One factor that seemed to have sunk the Wonder Woman project the first time around was the price of rebooting the series, with the studio requiring a rich license fee to bring the iconic character back to life. But then, NBC has been down this road before: It rebooted Bionic Woman(Fail) . Kelley’s take incorporated

Tupac Shakur Film Update & Back Story

Mid-way through 2010 it was announced that “ Training Day ” director Antoine Fuqua had anointed himself the captain of a biopic about slain rapper Tupac Shakur .The plan was to shoot in September. Meantime, Fuqua said he’d be opening his door to anyone that thinks they can do a good “Outlaw, Outlaw, Outlaw (They came in to sin)..Outlaw, Outlaw, Outlaw (Dear God, I wonder could you save me?)” “I want to discover someone new. I want to discover a lot of new people if I can. Obviously I’m going to have to put some people in it that you know, just because actors have different skills. I want to go to the streets and find him anywhere he might be in the world.” Today we’ve an update on the film, which is set up over at Morgan Creek. Seems the film is gearing up for an April start in Los Angeles. The official synopsis :  “The rise and fall of TUPAC SHAKUR is chronicled, from his days attending the Baltimore School of the Arts as a teenager, to his decision to leave his mother’s dead-

Spider-Man Close Up Photos Of Costume & Web-Shooters

We got our hands on some up-closes photos From the upcoming Spider-Man Reboot . Let's remember that this suit was built for doing stunts and not the actual suit that Andrew Garfield will be wearing in the film. So what do you guys think? Also check 5 key changes to the New Spider-Man Costume. See the full images after the Jump.. You can see that he will be having  mechanical web-shooters, the new franchise could be planning a major reboot of the character's history, as longtime fans know that Peter Parker's web-shooting ability originally stemmed from a pair of mechanical bracelet-like contraptions that he wore under his gloves. I'm pretty sure that's just part of the stunt costume, not the final look (the same might be said of the "sneakers," too — though we'll have to wait for more official imagery to be sure). "A Star Is Born" Clint Eastwood To Produce Beyoncé In The Film

This is a real shocker, and not just Hollywood but the rest of America should love it. What a coup for Warner Bros getting The Man on this, the 4th version of A Star Is Born . Of course, Clint Eastwood will produce (as always through Malpaso) as well as direct the script by Will Fetters along with producers Billy Gerber and and Basil Iwanyk and Jon Peters (who made the infamous 3rd version of A Star Is Born with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson). No male lead is cast yet, but the possibilities are endless. The project, which has been at WB for several years, had hoped to pair Beyoncé and Will Smith . But how about P Diddy (who's turning into a surprisingly fine actor along with Beyoncé's husband Jayz), Eddie Murphy (reteaming with Beyoncé after Dreamgirls), or any white guy imaginable though Robert Downey Jr and Jon Hamm are names that have been floating? Hey, I'm one of those huge fans who thinks Clint can do anything. And Beyoncé scored at the box office for

Elijah Wood Talks Upcoming Role In The Hobbit

MTV got a chance to talk to Elijah Wood and asked him about his upcoming role in " The Hobbit ." Wood has long maintained that he'd never suit back up as Frodo Baggins — the role he pioneered in the Oscar-winning " Lord of the Rings " trilogy" — in an adaptation of "The Hobbit" unless the appearance avoided gimmickry and fit within the larger context of J. R. R. Tolkien's legendary creation. Well, now Wood is officially returning to Middle-earth, and in what might be his first public comments about the upcoming project, the 29-year-old actor told MTV News that, although Frodo was never in Tolkien's "Hobbit," the character's appearance in the movies makes sense for Jackson's adaptation. "It's a very small piece, and I think that's the most appropriate," Wood said when we caught up with him at the Sundance Film Festival, where he was promoting " Fight for Your Right Revisited ," a short fil

J.K. Rowling Approved Death Changes In Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2

In a new interview with Cine Premiere Mexico, Andrew Ackland-Snow, the art director for the Harry Potter series, divulged new information which states that (with the approval of J.K. Rowling ) the death of Severus Snape has changed. "We wanted to change a bit where Snape dies. In the book, he dies on the Shrieking Shack, and we wanted to get him out from, not a conventional interior, but from that kind of box, to do it in a more dramatic atmosphere. We asked J.K. if she agreed for that to happen in there, because we hadn't really seen it before. We made a crystal house, and you can see what happens in the boat house from there - Are you listening Harry? -, but also the school is in flames...and she loved it. Besides, it's a very romantic place to die. Snape dies in a extremely good way, I gotta say." How, and if, this change will affect the film and plot has yet to be seen, but with J.K. Rowling's approval, and David Yates' track record, the change shouldn
