Star Wars Live Action Show May Be Closer Then We Think

Star Wars Live Action Show May Be Closer Then We Think We got news this week about a kids show about Star Wars and now we have the real news that all of us want. We all want to know what is going on with the live action Star Wars TV series, and when we will it arrive in our galaxy. The million dollar answer maybe right around the corner. According to Maureen Ryan from The Chicago Tribune. That's because Lucas and executive producer Rick McCallum want all the scripts for the show's first season to be completed before production begins. "They are working with writers on scripts," a Lucasfilm representative said in response to a query. "They won't set a production date [for Season 1] until the scripts are done." But work on the unnamed show's scripts appears to be at an advanced stage—which isn't surprising, considering the writing of the live-action show began two years ago. ABC's FlashForward Dying In The Ratings

ABC's FlashForward  Dying In The Ratings If your a fan of the ABC's show FlashForward you better past the word onto your friends and ask them to start watching the show.  Cause if the rating's don't turn around soon we may not be getting a second season of the show.  Thursday's two-hour return of ABC's sci-fi drama FlashForward had the show's lowest ratings yet, partly because of competition from basketball playoffs on CBS. The two-hour "FlashForward" (6.6 million viewers, 1.9 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) was down 10% from its last original episode back in December. If the show continues to perform at this level, the ABC drama's next blackout might be the show winking off the air. With the rating this low there is little hope that the show will be returning for a second season.  Canadian SF writer Robert J. Sawyer—on whose book the show is based—remains sanguine. In a post on his Facebook page, the author wrote: On the other hand,

Chris Evans Front Runner To Play Captain America

Chris Evans Front Runner To Play Captain America Chris Evans is inching one step closer to playing Steve Rodgers in the upcoming The First Avenger: Captain America film. Chris  has already worn a super hero costume having starred as Johnny Storm, the fire-covered superhero in the two “Fantastic Four” movies that Fox released in 2005 and 2007. Evans' offer would include starring in up to three "America" movies plus "The Avengers" movies and appearances in several other Marvel movies. While an offer to star in "America" may seem like something you don't have to mull over too long, one possible complication is that Evans is committed to co-starring in the Anna Faris romantic comedy "What's Your Number?" Both are scheduled to shoot this summer. Evans wasn’t in the initial round of actors being considered, which for the most part leaned to the newcomer side. To Shift Focus To DC Comics And 3D Yesterday during ShoWest Warner Bros President Alan Horn revealed that all their future tentpole films will be in 3D.and he also announced that all of their DC Comics movies and big special effects films, will be released in 3D. This means we can probably expect the new Superman and Batman to be in 3D as well, as long as Chris Nolan approves of it. However, he also said that they'll look at each project individually and determine whether it's best to shoot in 3D or convert into 3D on a movie-by-movie basis. Also during the event, Horn announced that Warner Bros. will be focusing more on the DC Comic properties to take the place of the Harry Potter franchise once the series ends in 2011. That statement came after Horn joked about how he tried to convince J.K. Rowling to let them c
