Robert Downey Jr. To Star In "Gravity," 3D Space Film With all the back and forth from Angelina Jolie first she was going to star in the film and then she would back out. It seems like the film might actually lift off the ground.Robert Downey Jr. is negotiating a deal to star in Gravity, the 3D space film directed by Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men and Y tu mama tambien). Cuaron also made this script a family affair by having his son Jonas help him write it. Gravity, which was written by Cuaron with son Jonas, plans to feature Dosney Jr as the commander of a team working at a remote space station. Tragedy strikes when he and a female colleague are working outside the structure, and debris from a destroyed satellite kills most of their crew mates. Sneak Peak At The Upcoming Predators Film We got our hand on the sneak peak for the upcoming Predators. The film is being directed by Nimród Antal and being produced by Robert Rodriguez, add to that the film stars starring Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Laurence Fishburne, Danny Trejo and Derek Mears. plot of the film follows a mercenary named Royce who is abducted by alien creatures known as the Predators. He is released on an alien world which acts as a game reserve—along with seven other humans, where they are hunted by a group of predators as well as a new updated version nicknamed the Black Super Predator. While battling to survive against these creatures, they also stumble across an American soldier known as Noland who was brought to the planet years ago as game, but has managed to survive by hiding from the Predators in a cave. Wilson's comic, which deals with the human race's struggle against a robot uprising. Drew Goddard, who wrote the film Cloverfield and is a former Buffy the Vampire Slayer writer is rumored to be drafting a new screenplay for Spielberg. Wilson hasn't finished the book yet, but word is Goddard has gotten underway and that it's a serious candidate. Summer Glau To Wear A Cape In Upcoming TV Show On NBC Summer Glau will be playing the lead role in an upcoming super hero-themed show "The Cape" on NBC. Let's just hope Joss Whedon isn't attached to the project, as we know in the past (Firefly,Dollhouse) was canceled by Fox. Glau has also starred in Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" also. In the pilot, directed by Simon West, a former cop (David Lyons) is set up as a criminal and becomes a masked hero, the Cape, to clear his name.
