Avengers: Age of Ultron Interview With Jeremy Renner

Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye : Here is a brief history on the character he plays after the Jump... An Avenger and master archer who previously worked as an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. Whedon said that Hawkeye interacts more with the other characters in the film, as opposed to the first film where the character had been "possessed pretty early by a bad guy and had to walk around all scowly." As the character did not appear in any other of Marvel's Phase Two films, Whedon stated Age of Ultron sheds light on to what the character was doing since the end of The Avengers. About the character, Renner said, "[Hawkeye] is kind of a loner anyway, and he’s a team player only 'cause he sort of has to be. He’s not really a company man. Captain America can be that guy. In [Age of Ultron] you'll understand why [Hawkeye] thinks the way he thinks." Please Leave A Comment-

Avengers: Age of Ultron Interview With Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth as Thor: Here is a brief history on the character he plays after the Jump... An Avenger and the crown prince of Asgard, based on the Norse mythological deity of the same name. About Thor's place in the film, Hemsworth said, "Well Thor stayed on Earth from [Thor: The Dark World]. So he's here. He's part of the team. This is his home for the moment. So the initial threat of attack from Ultron is personal. Thor then begins to see a bigger picture about what this threat could potentially be and it begins to tie into all of our films." Commenting on his portrayal of the character, Hemsworth said, "What becomes a challenge is trying to not repeat the same thing all the time. So you've got to work that bit harder to see what else you can do with the character." He added, "...it was just lightening up a bit. It gave us room to kind of make him a little more grounded and human and have him in some civilian clothes and mixing it up a

Avengers: Age of Ultron Interview With Elizabeth Olsen

Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch : Here is a brief history on the character he plays after the Jump... A newly recruited Avenger who initially allies with Ultron and the twin sister of Quicksilver, who can harness magic and engage in hypnosis and telekinesis. Olsen said, "The reason she's so special is because she has such a vast amount of knowledge that she's unable to learn how to control it. No one taught her how to control it properly. So it gets the best of her. It's not that she's mentally insane, it's just that she's just overly stimulated. And she can connect to this world and parallel worlds at the same time, and parallel times." Describing her character's mind control powers, Olsen said, "I am able to go into someone's head and they'd never see. I can feel and see what they feel and see. So it's not just me manipulating them. What I love about her is that, in so many superhero films, emotions are k

Avengers: Age of Ultron Interview With Chris Evans

Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America : Here is a brief history on the character he plays after the Jump... The co-leader of the Avengers and a World War II veteran, who was enhanced to the peak of human physicality by an experimental serum and frozen in suspended animation before waking up in the modern world. Describing his character's place in the film, Evans said, "He's still looking for a home, probably a metaphorical home. He's always felt comfortable as a soldier. And he likes structure. He works well taking orders. But when that dynamic turned on him, he's now left to depend upon his team, the Avengers. There really is no one above them telling them what to do. They're kind of having to operate independently. So there's a lot of leaning on one another, but there really isn't a kind of clear chain of command. And I think Cap looks for that. I think he's looking to understand where he belongs, not just as a soldier, as Captain

Aaron Taylor-Johnson Plays   Pietro Maximoff / Quicksilver . Here is a brief history on the character he plays after the Jump... A newly recruited Avenger who initially allies with Ultron, and the twin brother of the Scarlet Witch, who can move at superhuman speed. About the character Taylor-Johnson said, "Him [sic] and his sister [Scarlet Witch] have been abandoned by their parents and their father, and they grew up in Eastern Europe defending and looking out for themselves and each other... His sister really is his guidance - emotionally she's the one who looks after him, and vice versa. He's very overprotective physically - he doesn't want anyone touching her." Taylor-Johnson also said that Quicksilver has "real anger frustration" and is easily bored due to a short attention span. Feige stated exploring Quicksilver's relationship with his sister and his backstory growing up in Eastern Europe would help differentiate the character from Ev

No Post-Credits Scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron

Don’t expect a second helping of shawarma. By Brandon Wolfe The post-credits stinger has been a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe going all the way back to Nick Fury’s introduction at the tail end of Iron Man , but the streak will be broken in Avengers: Age of Ultron . The film will include a mid-credits epilogue, but nothing at the very end, director Joss Whedon tells Entertainment Weekly . “We all came at it separately—we don’t want to chase that,” Whedon said of the famous dinner scene in the original film. “That was a jewel and a weird little quirk. There is nothing at the very end. And that’s not a fake-out. We want people to know so they don’t sit there for ten minutes and then go: ‘Son of a bitch! I’ll kill them!’” Whedon says an attempt was made by all involved to concoct another memorable post-credits treat, but claims that “it didn’t seem to lend itself in the same way, and we wanted to be true to what felt right. The first rule of making a sequel is take t

TV Review: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “Who You Really Are”

I Sif returns, Skye shakes, viewers yawn. Review by Brandon Wolfe Pity poor Jaimie Alexander. As one of the few members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe low enough on the totem pole to be accessible for TV, she keeps getting roped back into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Lady Sif returns this week for her second appearance on the series. It’s not that Alexander isn’t welcome on the show, but she very clearly is being utilized not because Sif makes perfect sense as a regular popover to Coulson’s tiny, earthbound corner of the universe, but because she’s a much easier “get” than a Robert Downey Jr. or a Scarlett Johansson, whose characters would make infinitely more sense crossing paths on a frequent basis with S.H.I.E.L.D. I guess you work with what you have. Anyway, Sif wanders out of the ocean one night in Portugal with no memory of who she is (because amnesia is a device used only by the finest of shows). It isn’t long before her superhuman exploits land on Team Coulson’s radar

Final "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Arrives

Ultron deals it out, but Vision finally arrives in this last trailer. Story by Matt Cummings For those of you who think Avengers: Age of Ultron has been too long in waiting, join the club. But with each new trailer, we get a bit more of the story and characters that currently make up (and will eventually make up) Phase 3's lineup. In the final trailer from Director Joss Whedon, we get tantalizing new clues about who's to join the team, as well as more details about Ultron's plan to overtake humanity. From the looks of things, it appears that Ultron has assembled a far larger army that we've seen previously. But, it also appears The Avengers are ready for the challenge. Among many interesting aspects of the trailer comes at 1:07, in which it appears that a set of Adamantium claws emerge from a person whom we cannot see the face. Is this Wolverine? Of course, Fox owns the rights to Wolverine and the X-men, so it would be an amazing Easter egg if h

Take A Closer Look At Yellowjacket From Ant-Man

Cross is the main challenge for Lang and Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym, since he also has access to the “Pym Particles” that can shrink matter and has crafted a more dangerous version of the Ant-Man suit for his own nefarious ends. Check out the violence-promising bladed arms, with Cross taking a leaf from Doctor Octopus’s book (even if he’ll never acknowledge him, what with Doc appearing in a different studio’s franchise.) It’s interesting to call Cross a Big Bad since he’ll spend some of the time as tiny as our hero, but he’s certainly a wrong ‘un. #AGEOFULTRON Behind The Scenes Sneak Peek

A new behind-the-scenes AGE OF ULTRON , sneak peek has all sorts of goodies. Including a lot more Joss Whedon talking explosions and action, and more Scarlet Witch. And also take a listen to what could possibly the robot-infused new score to the sequel. Taken from the bonus feature on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (which is now on Digital HD & Blu-ray on December 9th) everything looks really, really huge. All understandable as the last movie blew up a lot of New York, sothe sequel will have to raise the stakes a lot higher (not sure how they're going to do that, but we're eager to find out). Next up is the Avengers 2 website . Just released today, people are speculating that the new music on the official page may be the new score. It's got a bit of electric edge to it, and that works with the new villain Ultron, as well as the new character Vision. Please Leave A Comment- Source- I09
