TOY STORY 4 Super Bowl TV Spot

Woody (voice of Tom Hanks ) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts ). After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. Bo Peep is back! New Character Poster From Toy Story 4

Bo Peep is back! This long-lost friend of Woody, Buzz and the gang always shared a special connection with Woody, but they have not seen each other in years, and Bo has become chipped and faded over time. Bo’s strength and sarcasm always belied her delicate porcelain exterior, and it turns out she’s an adventure-seeking free spirit who feels right at home on the road. When she and Woody are reunited under unlikely circumstances, they realize they’ve grown worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy. “Bo’s taken control of her own destiny,” said “ Toy Story 4 ” director Josh Cooley. “While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can’t believe that they’ve found each other again.” Annie Potts returns as the voice of Bo Peep. “She is modern, independent, capable and confident,” said Potts of her character. “Bo is written and conceived to be inspiring as she has weathered life’s ups an

Jordan Peele Looking To Remake Candyman

Even as he's busy filming his follow-up to Oscar-winning horror Get Out , Jordan Peele is using his producing powers to generate any number of other projects, including a new Twilight Zone series. According to the team at Bloody Disgusting , he's in talks to nab the rights to cult 1990s horror pic Candyman . Originally adapted from The Forbidden , a short story published in Clive Barker's Books Of Blood, the 1992 film introduced Tony Todd as the iconic urban legend, a slaughtered spirit who appears if one says his name five times while looking in a mirror and wreaks bloody havoc. It was followed by two sequels (though neither are remembered as fondly) and has been the subject of the usual remake chatter for years. Peele's Monkeypaw Productions company is aiming to grab its chance to make a new version, though there is no word on whether Peele would look to direct it – the idea of a successful black man who fathers a child with a white woman in 1890 and is then l

Movie Review: Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie

Tra-la-laaaa!!!! Rama is back. This is certainly “ Captain Underpants ” first movie, but does it live up to what the title suggests, ‘epic?’ Let’s just put it this way, the humor doesn’t land most of the time. It doesn’t do enough exaggeration, which usually can make kids laugh, kids who are clearly this movie’s target audience. It tries too hard to make their parents laugh instead. At least not until halfway through the end when the story busts out a weapon that can enlarge or shrink objects. But what it lacks in funny, “Captain Underpants” makes up for it in characters that entertain. Based on the worldwide sensation and best-selling book series, “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie” voice stars Kevin Hart, Ed Helms and Thomas Middleditch and it’s about two pranksters/best friends, George and Harold, who hypnotize their mean principal into thinking he’s a dimwitted superhero named Captain Underpants. I was never actually familiar with the book series, I’ve heard about

Movie Review: Get Out

An original horror film? Get out! Review by Brandon Wolfe Jordan Peele, one half of the comedy duo Key and Peele, doesn’t, put mildly, seem like a natural fit for the horror genre. A lifelong horror fan, Peele had noted that the genre, while no stranger to tackling social issues, has never really grappled with the subject of race in any substantial way (he has said that the original Night of the Living Dead was the closest the genre has come, but Tales from the Hood probably merits at least a mention). To wit, Peele has made his directorial debut with the racially tinged Get Out , a story that addresses race head-on. The question that immediately emerges is whether or not such a dyed-in-the-wool comedy fixture could make a straightforward, serious-minded horror film. The answer is a full-throated “sorta.” Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) is a college student six months deep into an exceedingly cutesy relationship with Rose ( Girls ’ Allison Williams). Rose invites Chris to accompany her t
