BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#LootCrate Review: August 2015

As August's Villains 2 box arrives, will fans support Loot Crate's new direction? Read on to find out! Review by Matt Cummings Loot Crate appears to be at a crossroads. Having turned in an impressive run of subscription boxes in March , April , May , and June , July proved the company isn't willing to keep sending us the same thing every month. The once staple crop of a t-shirt surrounded by lower-end stuff was recently replaced with a cool figure, a hardbound book, and a rad batarang that's quickly become the most used bottle opener in the house. Some fans (like our own SandwichJohn) are opting out, with others complaining that Loot's LevelUp program is sending shirts that don't arrive with their Crate and ultimately don't fit. August's box of VILLAINS 2 is more of the same, leaving me to wonder how long customer loyalty will last. Remember Loot's promise: a $22 subscription should yield more in value than the cost. Let's see

Joker May Be In Batman v. Superman and Batman May Be In Suicide Squad

DC might be cross-pollinating their characters. By Brandon Wolfe Latino Review has posted a couple of juicy rumors concerning the burgeoning DC Cinematic Universe. We received our first look the other day at the new Insane Clown Posse Prince of Crime incarnation of the Joker as he will appear in David Ayer's Suicide Squad , which had been expected to be the character’s debut film. Now, it’s rumored, we might meet the character a bit sooner, in Batman v. Superman . Rumblings have it that Jared Leto is filming a secret flashback sequence for next March’s superhero mash-up where we will see a depiction of the Joker torturing and killing Jason Todd’s Robin, as occurred in the 1988 comic “A Death in the Family.” Latino Review also reports that Todd’s Robin costume will be displayed in a glass casket in Wayne Manor during the film, and will possibly act as the trigger for the flashback. On top of that, the website also claims to have been told that Bruce Wayne/Batman will

Here's What Jared Leto's Joker Will Look Like

"Do you want to know how I got these tats?" By Brandon Wolfe In celebration of the character’s 75th anniversary, Suicide Squad director David Ayer has tweeted a photo of the Joker as he will be portrayed by Jared Leto . The photo, presenting a tatted-up version of the Clown Prince of Crime, registers something of a shock, as it indicates an extreme reinterpretation of the iconic character, something DC has seemed bent on doing to many of its iconic characters in its bid to craft a cinematic universe of its own. It’s worth mentioning that when images first popped up online of Heath Ledger’s Joker from The Dark Knight , they too seemed to suggest an initially troubling major overhaul of the character’s appearance, with the long, greasy hair and mutilated smile. But Leto’s Joker, with his Juggalo visage, has especially struck many as a needless, tone-deaf modernization of something that didn’t need to be updated, and yet more evidence that Warner Bros' decision t

Jared Leto's Joker In #SuicideSquad

Following yesterday's image of the assembled Suicide Squad at David Ayer's cast read-through, Ayer has addressed the notable absence of Jared Leto with a new image. No white-face make-up yet, but here's a green-haired Leto. Please Leave A Comment-

David Ayer Shows Off His #SuicideSquad

The director posts the first group photo, but one big question remains. On Tuesday, Director David Ayer posted this photo of the first read-through for the film: The #SuicideSquad cast reading is a who's who of #Hollywood . http://t.co/GsZjNlEcSz pic.twitter.com/18oe60uhsS — Good Morning America (@GMA) April 10, 2015 Pictured in the photo are Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller) and a few new additions. The Joker Coming Soon to Gotham

The Clown Prince of Crime to make his TV debut. By Brandon Wolfe The question of just when Batman’s most iconic villain, The Joker, will finally makes his debut on Fox’s Gotham has been answered, and the answer is much sooner than you might have guessed. Executive Producer Bruno Heller initially intended to hold off on introducing the character into the show, but now has revealed that the crown jewel of the Rogues Gallery could pop up before the first season ends. "We've said you're going to be waiting a bit longer for it, but this is America -- nobody wants to wait," Heller told TVGuide.com . "So, we will scratch the surface of that story, yes. But just scratch it -- a little tap on the door." Heller’s statement is open to interpretation, as he seems to hint that an in-the-flesh appearance by the Joker might not occur this season so much as a tease, perhaps in the form of an ominous cackle heard at the end of the season finale, or even a direct
