BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

The Raven Movie Review By: Matt C

The Raven Movie Review By: Matt C At first glance, the premise for The Raven might seem like an odd Hollywood match: comedy actor John Cusack (Better Off Dead), portrays the soon-to-be-disposed Edgar Allan Poe , whose stories have become the basis for a serial killer's murder spree. Add to this that history tells us quite a different story about Poe: he never worked with the Baltimore Police, his stories never became the basis for a psychotic mind's perverted practice, and the film's telling of his death is flat-out inaccurate. So, how does this mish-mash of historical inaccuracy play out for audiences? The answer is, wonderfully: The Raven is a smart, well-acted thriller that ushers us into the summer movie season with a bang. Cusack shines as the melancholy author who, when the film starts, is oft-inebriated and can barely pay off his bar tab before being summarily dismissed onto the street. His recent release of the poem Raven has netted him fame but not fortune,

Official Poster For The Paperboy Starring An All-Star Cast

Lee Daniels’ dramatic follow-up to his Oscar-nominated Precious tells the story of a reporter who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate. The film has a great solid cast of Matthew McConaughey, Nicole Kidman, John Cusack, Zac Efron and David Oyelowo . From Millennium Films comes the sexy cool first poster for The Paperboy : Nicole Kidman rides shotgun next to Zac Efron , who takes center stage with old-fashioned matinee-idol looks, a far cry from the kid-friendly charm of his previous work. Speaking frankly, the whole poster gives off in a truth Tarantino fashion that pays tribute to B-movies. The story follows a Miami Times reporter ( Matthew McConaughey ) who returns to his hometown to investigate the murder of a local sheriff. Efron , as his aimless younger brother, kicks in to help, and in the process falls for the woman ( Kidman ) whom the convict ( John Cusack ) has been romancing through prison correspondence. Vanessa Hudgens Will Walk On Frozen Ground

In a departure from her High School Musical past, Vanessa Hudgens has been set to star alongside Nicolas Cage and John Cusack in Frozen Ground, the Emmett/Furla Films thriller that is being sold here in Toronto, with Voltage Pictures handling international sales. The film, which will begin shooting October 17 in Anchorage, Alaska, marks the feature directing debut of Scott Walker, who wrote the script. Pic is based on true events surrounding Alaska’s most notorious serial predator, Robert Hansen. Cusack is playing Hansen, regarded in the community as a respected family man. In the span of 12 years, he abducted more than 24 women, flew them into the Alaskan wilderness, and hunted and murdered them. Hudgens will play the one teenage victim who escaped. When she returned to tell her story, nobody believed her. Cage will play the Alaskan State Trooper who finds her on the street. Together they work to bring Hansen to justice. Frozen Ground is being produced by Randall Emmett and

Talk Of "Say Anything" Sequel

Cameron Crowe is not a man known for his sequels. His output has been strictly original (not counting Vanilla’s Sky’s status as a remake of Open Your Eyes). But when he sat down with the press on Saturday at the biannual Television Critics tour to discuss his new documentary Pearl Jam Twenty , he did admit that he’d had thoughts across the years that he might continue the story of one of his best movies – Say Anything … As you’ll likely know, the 1989 film saw John Cusack as noble underachiever and outspoken high school senior Lloyd Dobler, who meets and woos the brainy and beautiful Diane Court ( Ione Skye ). They don’t seem like the perfect couple, and Diane’s father ( John Mahoney ) definitely doesn’t want them together, but Lloyd has a particular brand of charm that makes him all the more loveable… "Say Anything... is the only thing that I've written that I would consider doing that with," said Crowe, when asked about the idea. "And I've thought about

New Hot Tub Time Machine Clip

New Hot Tub Time Machine Clip The clip shows all the guys trying to figure out what just happened and how does the time machine work. By the way the white powder around Craig Robinson is not flour.  In the clip Robinson talks about the time machine and the comparison to Terminator the film and what could have happen if they didn't send Michael Bean back in time. The film just looks like a good old retro 80's film with great comedy and an awesome soundtrack. There is some serious buzz about this movie and it is all good. I can not wait until Friday to go check out this film. Please Leave A Comment- Source- cinematical
