Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine has survived through the full X-Men movie series and now, after 16 years, he’s whipping out his claws one last time for Logan. And in the third and final Wolverine movie, he’s losing his self-healing powers—but he’s found his successor. Set in 2024, Logan brings Wolverine back as a lone survivor in a time when mutants are all gone or in hiding, hunted by government assassins. Set to Johnny Cash’s cover of “Hurt” by Nine Inch Nails (director James Mangold is also behind the Cash biopic Walk the Line), the first trailer for the movie shows a scarred Logan living in a wasteland, isolated from the rest of the world. But in such a dire time, there’s still hope: Wolverine and a very sickly Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) must come together to protect Laura (Sienna Novikov), a young girl with powers very similar to Logan’s, from the cyborg Reavers. The haul of new information and imagery about the new Wolverine film – which we now know to be titled Logan – is building by the day. Director James Mangold and his team have been adding cryptic pictures to the movie's Instagram account , with the latest revealing that Boyd Holbrook 's villain in the film, pictured above, is Donald Pierce. When you've got Hugh Jackman's Wolverine as the hero in your story, you need some real opposition to go up against him. Director James Mangold thinks he might have found his main antagonist for Wolverine 3 in Narcos ' Boyd Holbrook . The actor, who played Agent Steve Murphy on Netflix's drug cartel drama, will be the driven, demanding and lethally smart head of security for a global company who will go up against Jackman's Logan. Not much else is known about the film officially yet, though rumors have persisted that it could be drawn from stories of the hero's later years. A Walk Among the Tombstones Review by Brandon Wolfe It’s hard to recall now a time when Liam Neeson was anything than our patron saint of throat-punching. The actor’s post-‘ Taken ’ reinvention as an action hero has so thoroughly altered our conception of him that now when you see him in ‘ Love Actually ,’ you half expect him to snap that lovesick kid’s neck. In a modern era where truly masculine action heroes are a dying breed, Neeson has stepped up to fill the void. Deserved or not, he’s the surly, growling tough guy we need right now. ‘ A Walk Among the Tombstones ’ was reportedly something of a passion project for Neeson, something he had to push to get made. This is a bit of a surprise because the film really isn't that far outside of his ‘Taken’ comfort zone. Again, he’s a terse and formidable professional. Again, he’s got his certain set of skills, both with a gun and his bare hands. Hell, he’s even trying to save a kidnapped daughter again, albeit not his own. This
