BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Lost Finale Gets An Extra 30 Minutes

Lost Finale Gets An Extra 30 Minutes The producers of ABC's hit drama have shot so much crucial material for the show's hugely anticipated series finale that the network has agreed to extend the last episode by an extra half-hour. When the " Lost" finale airs on Sunday, May 23 , the episode will run from 9 p.m.-11:30 p.m. The overrun will push back local news, with the previously announced "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost" post-finale special now airing at 12:05 a.m. ABC is expected to announce the plan on tonight's episode of Kimmel. Executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof just completed postproduction on the finale -- titled "The End" -- on Monday night. Both sent out identical tweets: "We're done. Amen." Lindelof recently told THR that the crew built all-new sets for the finale and promised the ending would prompt more questions. The supersizing of the finale is the latest adjustment to what might as well

ABC's Castle Coming Back For A Third Season

ABC's Castle Coming Back For A Third Season ABC has renewed 'Castle" for 22 episodes and giving the show a third season. Castle follows Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, a famous mystery novelist who is initially called in to help the NYPD solve a copy-cat murder based on his novels. Stana Katic stars opposite as the young detective Kate Beckett. Following his encounter with Beckett, Castle decides to use her as the model for the main character of his next book series. He uses his contacts and receives permission to accompany Beckett while investigating cases. While technically a drama series, Castle also features comedy and romantic tension. The Nathan Fillion detective drama has been gathering strength on Monday nights, especially when paired with reality powerhouse "Dancing With the Stars." Please Leave A Comment- Source- THR

Who Is Richard Alpert From Lost?

Who Is Richard Alpert From Lost? The story of Richard Alpert in "Ab Aeterno," certainly one of the most mysterious characters on the series, since he doesn't age and has been endlessly loyal to Jacob. (It's questions and mega answers, so spoilers ahead!) Forget flash-sideways. This flashback-heavy story took us once again to Jacob visiting the injured Ilana in the hospital, before showing our survivor candidates Jack, Sun and Hurley discussing the candidate business around a campfire, while Illana explained that the guy who knew what to do next was indeed the disillusioned Richard Alpert. With Richard about to make a deal with the devil (or the Man in Black/Smokey/the Locke-ness Monster), we headed back in time to 1867 to find Ricardo (or Richard) in the Canary Islands desperately trying to save his sick wife, Isabella. Ricardo accidentally kills the doctor, wifey dies, and Ricardo is sold into slavery aboard the Black Rock rather than be hanged. During a terrib

ABC's FlashForward Dying In The Ratings

ABC's FlashForward  Dying In The Ratings If your a fan of the ABC's show FlashForward you better past the word onto your friends and ask them to start watching the show.  Cause if the rating's don't turn around soon we may not be getting a second season of the show.  Thursday's two-hour return of ABC's sci-fi drama FlashForward had the show's lowest ratings yet, partly because of competition from basketball playoffs on CBS. The two-hour "FlashForward" (6.6 million viewers, 1.9 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) was down 10% from its last original episode back in December. If the show continues to perform at this level, the ABC drama's next blackout might be the show winking off the air. With the rating this low there is little hope that the show will be returning for a second season.  Canadian SF writer Robert J. Sawyer—on whose book the show is based—remains sanguine. In a post on his Facebook page, the author wrote: On the other hand,

ABC Buys Cedric the Entertainer Comedy Pitch

ABC Buys Cedric the Entertainer Comedy Pitch With the broadcast networks already in a pilot-pickup mode, two multicamera comedy pitches fronted by familiar faces scored last-minute sales at ABC. The projects, one starring Carlos Mencia and the other toplined by Cedric the Entertainer, hail from Sony TV and studio-based Tantamount. The Mencia sitcom, from veteran comedy writers Mitchel Katlin and Nat Bernstein, is a family comedy based on Mencia's life and stand-up act. Co-produced by Brillstein Entertainment, it centers on a man in the middle of his very large multigenerational immigrant family. The Cedric comedy, from Al Higgins (" 'Til Death") and Devon Shepard ("Cedric the Entertainer Presents"), will feature the comedian as a retired baseball player-turned-radio host forced to re-evaluate the type of father he has been when his son and 6-year-old granddaughter re-enter his life. In their initial comedy pilot orders this season, the networks have shown pr

Top 10 Biggest TV Business Mistakes of the Decade

Top 10 Biggest TV Business Mistakes of the Decade 10 biggest mishaps in the television industry over the past decade. 10. Fox canceling "Family Guy" (and perhaps "Firefly" too) Axed TV shows usually stay dead, yet two titles canceled by former Fox chief Sandy Grushow in 2002 refused to go quietly. One was Seth MacFarlane's "Family Guy," which was moved around the schedule and was even put opposite top-rated hits "Survivor" and "Friends" before getting yanked. After the show's repeats got strong ratings on Adult Swim and netted big DVD sales, the comedy eventually made its way back to broadcast in 2005. "Family Guy" is now Fox's second-highest-rated scripted series and has produced a successful spinoff ("The Cleveland Show"). As for "Firefly," the show lived on as a theatrical movie ("Serenity") and to this day, no TV series cancellation inspires louder fanboy wails. 9. NBC hiring Ben

ABC's V Rating Crashing Even More

ABC's V Rating Crashing Even More Wow, looks like ABC's V is definitely in trouble. Last night's third episode saw ratings and audience drop significantly again, down 18 percent to 9.3 million (3.1 rating among adults 18-49), according to The Hollywood Reporter's Live Feed blog. That after a precipitous 29 percent drop in week two from the blockbuster premiere. We're going to go out on a limb and say that the lizard aliens won't be on Earth for very long. Remember, ABC is airing only four episodes now (the last one airs next week) and was planning on returning to the air next spring with the final episodes of season one. We don't know, but we've always thought this was ABC's way of not committing to the production of the show before they had a good sense of which way the audience would go; as the production was slated to start up again next month or so, we're thinking they'll just go ahead and pull the plug once the four eps have aired. Relat

Ratings For" V "Come Down Crashing

Ratings For" V "Come Down Crashing After last week's record-setting premiere, ABC's "V" was destined to drop in the ratings for episode two. Driven by 1980s nostalgia and plenty of marketing, viewer curiosity ran high for the debut -- a pattern we've seen in recent years for network remakes of "Knight Rider," "90210" and "American Gladiators." Tuesday night's decline, therefore, was not exactly surprising ... yet it was pretty steep. The second "V" hour was seen by 10.7 million viewers and drew a 3.8 rating among adults 18-49, down 27% from last week. That's the largest fall from a premiere we've seen for a scripted show this season. The rating is still a successful number for a freshman drama. If "V" can remain anywhere close to this neighborhood, the show will be fine. The drop put "V" into second place at 8 p.m., with CBS' "NCIS" (21 million, 4.4) resuming control o

Watch the First 8 Minutes of ABC's " V" Television Show

Watch the First 8 Minutes of ABC's " V " Television Show I was a huge fan of the original show when it came out in the early 80's, The lizard under the human skin. Forget about it. What we have heard is that ABC is going to air four episode this November, then the show will return in March sometime. Well we will see if it returns. If the ratings are shit I don't see them airing the remaining episodes. I will have my fingers crossed, what I saw at Comic Con looked pretty good, but there is rumbling that there are some issues behind the scenes and the show had a few scenes redone. Giant spaceships appear over all major cities of the world, and Anna, the beautiful and charismatic leader of the extra-terrestrial "Visitors," claims to come in peace. As a small number of humans begin to doubt the sincerity of the seemingly benevolent Visitors, FBI counter-terrorism agent Erica Evans discovers that the aliens have spent decades infiltrating human governments an
