Cate Blanchett Joins Sandra Bullock In An All Female Ocean's Eleven Film

Developing quietly in the least year or so, a plan for an all-female Ocean's Eleven -style heist movie has been bubbling away, with originator (and Hunger Games director) Gary Ross roping in Steven Soderbergh as a producer and Sandra Bullock signing on to star. Add a potential new name to the list, as The Playlist reports that Cate Blanchett is circling one of the other leads. Olivia Milch is currently credited as the writer for a film that would use the basic Ocean's concept of thieves pulling off a heist, but isn't planned as a direct remake of the film. So while Bullock and (if she signs on) Blanchett would be playing similar friends to George Clooney and Brad Pitt in the movies, they're not just gender-swapped photocopies. Ross has also sounded out Jennifer Lawrence as a possible addition, though it's looking like the schedule – with the film aiming to shoot later this year – won't work for her even if she were interested. Ross is in the director

Movie Review: Me Before You

Is this movie sappy and suitable for a date night out? Yes. By: Erika Ashley A wealthy, handsome, and successful playboy, Will Traynor, has his life changed forever when a freak auto accident paralyzes him from the neck down. After several attempts of finding a suitable caregiver and companion for Will, his parents hire an adorably eclectic and constantly optimistic young woman, Louisa Clark, to care for him. Lou accidentally learns about Will’s long term plant to potentially end his life causing her to make it her mission to change his mind by any means necessary. Understanding that this film is based on a romance novel, one has to be slightly open minded that the book is probably going to be better or at least much different than the movie. The film’s story gets a little confusing as the two main characters, Will (played by Sam Claflin ) and Lou (played by Emilia Clarke ), very subtly fall for each other. Granted the characters are complete opposites with Will being a co

Superman Will Appear In Supergirl Season 2

In its first season, Supergirl featured only fleeting glimpses of her cousin, the Man Of Steel . While the producers stated that this was to make sure that the focus stayed squarely on Melissa Benoist's Kara, beyond that Warner Bros./DC didn't want Superman to be appearing on the big screen and the small at the same time. Obviously something has changed. Casting is underway for an actor to play Superman in the first two episodes of the show's second season, with the assumption being that he will show up again occasionally (perhaps on the four-way crossover of Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and DC's Legends Of Tomorrow?). Enthuses executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, "Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl. We cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!” Those who have done so previously include Kirk Alyn, George Reeves, Christopher Reeve, Gerard Christopher,
