The network has ordered seven more episodes of the DC comics adaptation, bringing the show's freshman season to 20 episodes. Supergirl 's flight is far from over. CBS has ordered seven more episodes of the DC Comics adaptation, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The order brings Supergirl's freshman season to a total of 20 episodes. Although it's slightly less than the normal 22, the freshman drama debuted a month later than most other new fall offerings. Supergirl also requires more special effects than the average series. The network's sign of confidence comes a month after Supergirl launched to a 3.1 rating among adults 18-49 and 12.9 million viewers — making it the most-watched premiere of the fall season. The series also tied with NBC's Blindspot for the highest-rated debut of the fall. Supergirl is currently averaging a 2.8 rating. Wizard World Reno Review By: Erika Ashley This past weekend I partook in my 4th Wizard World Comic Con, this time taking place in nearby Reno. Wizard World - Reno is the last stop on the traveling comic con’s route and usually has a pretty decent turn out. This year’s headline stars were only mildly exciting – Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Comic Book Men), Jason Mewes (Clerks, Clerks II, Mallrats), Adam West (1960s Batman), and Burt Ward (1960s Robin). The rest of the celebrity appearances were comprised of outdated D-list television actors that are clinging to their fading fame and a few B-list actors questioning their agents thought process.
