But while Rogue Nation is a critically lauded blockbuster and Jack Reacher is about to receive a sequel , Edge of Tomorrow is the collaboration that sort of got lost in the shuffle, underperforming last year despite near-unanimous praise. But last week, Cruise mentioned to the press that he had an idea for an Edge of Tomorrow sequel, and in an interview with Uproxx , McQuarrie has addressed the chances of it coming to fruition.
