BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Big Game Trailer Starring Samuel L. Jackson Has Landed

Back in 2010, Finnish director Jalmari Helander brought the world a creepy Christmas present in the form of feral Santa Claus tale Rare Exports . For his next trick, he’s looking to throw a nod and a wink towards big ‘80s muscle movies with an action comedy called Big Game. Jackson  stars as the President Of The United States, who is stranded in the Finnish mountains when terrorists blast Air Force One from the sky and he’s parachuted to relative safety in an escape capsule. Struggling to survive in the harsh terrain he meets 13-year-old Oskari (Tommila), who is out there as part of a coming-of-age ritual. They’ll have to team up when the baddies targeting the Prez decide to hunt him down… With Samuel L. Jackson, Jim Broadbent, Ray Stevenson, Felicity Huffman, Ted Levine, Victor Garber and Rare Exports’ Onni Tommila among the cast, the film appears to be a blend of Escape From New York and The Most Dangerous Game. Helander’s latest received some mixed reviews from the Toront

Scarlett Johansson To Star In Ghost In The Shell

Rupert Sanders is on board to direct. Avi Arad and Steven Paul are producing the film from a script by Bill Wheeler. Mark Sourian is exec producing. Insiders also tell Variety that Paramount has the option to come on as co-producer and financier and that decision is expected in the coming weeks. DreamWorks principal Steven Spielberg is a huge fan of the original and has long wanted to get this film off the ground. A commitment from a star like Johansson should help in getting the pic greenlit for production. Besides Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lawrence, Johansson is becoming one of the few actresses in town with the clout to get a project greenlit on her name alone. “Lucy” made $394 million worldwide and Johansson can be seen next in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” bowing in May. Johansson has also done a nice job of balancing action-heavy tentpoles with serious dramas and comedies. Please Leave A Comment-

REVENGE OF THE SITH 3D To Premiere At #STARWARSCELEBRATION

REVENGE OF THE SITH 3D , FOR STAR WARS CELEBRATION SEE THE FINAL FILM OF THE PREQUEL TRILOGY IN A WHOLE NEW WAY. “Once more, the Sith will rule the galaxy.” So said Darth Sidious upon the turn of Anakin Skywalker to the dark side, and he was right (for awhile…). Only this time, they’ll do it in 3D. Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith , in all its Order 66ing glory, will make its 3D debut at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, coming April 16-19, 2015. Fans will be the first to see this long-awaited, big-screen 3D conversion by Lucasfilm, completed with care for the look of the original movie while taking advantage of 3D’s stunning possibilities. Revenge of the Sith was originally released in 2005, and brought the Star Wars saga full circle with an action-packed, visually-stunning, emotional story. The film sees the final machinations of Darth Sidious’ evil plot come to pass — and features lots (and lots) of lightsaber duels, dogfights, and Clone Wars battles. With all this,

The Raid Stars To Appear In Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens

More good news keeps coming out about this film. Though there has been no comment whatsoever from any of the performers or their representation, Twitch has learned that a key trio of performers from Gareth Evans' The Raid and The Raid 2 - leading man Iko Uwais , Mad Dog / Prakoso actor Yayan Ruhian and The Raid 2 finale fighter Cecep Arif Rahman , credited simply as The Assassin - will all appear in JJ Abrams' upcoming Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens . We have no word yet on what their characters may be, which side of the good guy / bad guy line they fall upon or whether any will survive through until the subsequent pictures but think on this: After the underwhelming prequel trilogy with its massive over-reliance on CGI trickery not only has Abrams shown a strong preference for practical effects but has now also cast a trio of highly skilled martial artists who have already demonstrated their skills with blades, batons, etc in a world where super powered warr

January 2015 Movies On Our Radar

Is January the month where films go to die? You decide in our January preview! Story by Matt Cummings After an incredibly busy month of December that saw no less than 12 interesting flicks go for our hard-earned dollars , January arrives with a distinctly "Don't forget about us!" feel. January has usually been the month where films go to die, cast off to the Island of Misfit Toys after entertaining earlier Oct-Dec releases. The reality: most of these will flop, some will linger around like Jay and Silent Bob, while others will make a profit and actually lead in the box office until around March. This year might be a different story, with one of the most anticipated slate of films in recent memory. For now. we're holding to our theory but for now there are a few that could be interesting. Our list includes a talking bear, a computer hacker, a sniper, and the end of Bryan Mills. Welcome to our January 2015 movie preview! January 6 Taken 3 Plot
