Disney’s “ ALEXANDER & THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY ” follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander ( Ed Oxenbould ) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom ( Jennifer Garner ), dad ( Steve Carell ), brother ( Dylan Minnette ) and sister ( Kerris Dorsey ) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Annabelle Review: Good Enough to Scare, Not Good Enough to Lead

The Conjuring prequel Annabelle loses steam after a compelling opening. We've been espousing on the renaissance of classic horror films like The Conjuring , Sinister , and Insidious for quite some time. Both have re-introduced fans to a better type of terror built upon simple but effective gags without showering the audience with too much blood and not enough compelling story, ala 2013's Evil Dead . The Conjuring origin story Annabelle tries to equal its predecessor, delivering solid but unimpressive results. An origin story set in the same world as Ed and Lorraine Warren, Annabelle was once owned by Jon and Mia (Ward Horton and Annabelle Wallis), a young married (and deeply religious) couple expecting their first child. When their neighbors are murdered by a duo of satanic cult members, the blood from one of the assailants drips into Annabelle, sparking a series of increasingly dangerous supernatural events. Even a change of scenery doesn't keep Annabelle aw

First Trailer For American Sniper

Bradley Cooper as real-life sniper Chris Kyle, whose story he’s been trying to bring to the screen for a couple of years now. The first trailer for the result, American Sniper. Jason Hall adapted Navy SEAL Kyle’s book, subtitled The Autobiography Of The Most Lethal Sniper In US Military . That recorded Kyle’s career as a Texas-born shooter who notched the highest number of recorded kills for an American. But his dedication to his sights and his SEAL mates has an impact on his relationship with his wife ( Sienna Miller ). And in a tragic twist, Kyle was killed at a shooting range by the traumatised fellow veteran who he and a friend were helping post-military service. This first trailer opts for a tense look at Kyle in the combat zone, figuring out his targets, intercut with scenes of him and his wife at their wedding and the birth of their child. Director Clint Eastwood has a fine line to walk with this one, and it’ll be under a very critical eye. Please Leave A Comment
