Adam McKay To Direct THE BIG SHORT

McKAY TO TAKE ON PARAMOUNT PICTURES AND PLAN B’S “THE BIG SHORT” FROM ACCLAIMED WRITER MICHAEL LEWIS Paramount Pictures and Plan B announced today that writer / director Adam McKay has come aboard to adapt and direct “ THE BIG SHORT ,” based on the acclaimed book by Michael Lewis. Based on Lewis’ best-seller The Big Short: Inside The Doomsday Machine about the housing and credit bubble of the 2000s, the film will be produced by Paramount and Brad Pitt's Plan B. Pitt previously starred in and produced Lewis’ “MONEYBALL,” which earned an Academy Award®-nomination for Best Picture. "Michael Lewis has the amazing ability to take complex formulas and concepts and turn them into page turners. Plan B and I connected over that breathless quality the book has. Very excited to jump into this," said McKay. X-Men: Days of Future Past is an upcoming 2014 American superhero film, based on the fictional X-Men characters appearing in Marvel Comics and on the 1981 Uncanny X-Men storyline " Days of Future Past " by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. Directed by Bryan Singer, it is the seventh film in the X-Men film series and the third X-Men film directed by Singer after 2000's X-Men and 2003's X2. TV Review: Crisis “If You Are Reading This I am Dead” By: Brandon Wolfe In its premiere episode, ‘Crisis’ worked up quite a sweat in kicking off its convoluted premise, and if anything, the series gets even sweatier in its second outing. This is a show that is positively breaking its neck in about ten different places to take us on a ride that isn’t anywhere near as exciting or interesting as it thinks it is. TV Recap: Bitten "Settling" By: Sue Early morning, and Elena sits awake staring at her phone, but its not ringing, Philip is gone. Clay speaks to Jeremy on the phone, he tells him that she’s emotional right now. Elena tells him that Philip is gone, and he has what he wanted. Clay never wanted her hurt. He tells her that Jeremy and Nick found Joey, and the mutt hideout. Jeremy and Nick are coming. The pack is regrouping and going back to Stone Haven. TV Recap: Lost Girl "End Of A Line" By: Sue Prepare the Kleenex. An episode called End of A Line just doesn’t sit well with me. Kenzi tries to distract herself with some zombie movies or Jerry Macguire. Tamsin wonders if that’s it with Bo and the Wanderer, but Kenzi isn’t sure. She’s been by Bobo’s side for four years, and now finds herself all Tiny Tim on the outside looking in. Bo overhears her, and tries to reassure her that she’s not brainwashed, that things were never perfect with either Dyson or Lauren. It’s a whole messed up history.
