BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Fast & Furious 7 To Be Released April 10, 2015

Paul Walker sadly passed away three weeks ago. He was half-way through shooting Fast & Furious 7 , and the production team decided to take time off so that the cast, crew and Walker's family could grieve. Now, although no work is being done on the film at this moment, his co-star and producer of the series, Vin Diesel , has announced that the sequel will hit theaters in April 10, 2015 , although it's still not clear when production will recommence. That April 10 date means the burgeoning billion dollar franchise will have over a year to tweak the script and carry out reshoots before heading to cinemas. Diesel announced the news on his Facebook page, alongside a picture of the last scene the two shot together (see above). "The last scene we filmed together… There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come… Fast and Furious 7 will be released… April 10th 2015! P.S. He’

I'm So Excited Review. The Film Is Outrageous & Hilarious

I'm So Excited Review By: MattInRC If you don't know Director Pedro Almodóvar , you should. His foreign-language films range from the dark and powerful The Skin I Live In, to the easier-to-digest Talk to Her, with his comic style coming out in films like Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. His newest release - I'm So Excited - is Almodóvar at his most outrageous, filling the screen with enough sexual escapades and homoerotic dialogue to keep you laughing throughout. \ I'm So Excited translates to " passenger lovers " and " the fleeting lovers " and it's really like a one-night-stand comedy in the skies. When a passenger plane can't land due to stuck gear, the crew must prepare for the inevitable while the tower searches desperately for a runway. The reason for the problem is due entirely to the ground crew, laughingly played by two Almodóvar regulars in sadly short cameos. Later on, as the plane continues to fly in circles in t

2 Guns Review

2 Guns Review By: MattInRC 2 Guns's shallow character development and flashbang action doom it to a rainy day matinee. I love me some double cross in film. Look back into history and you'll see Payback, Jackie Brown, and even Iron Man with elements of the double cross. While the buddy-copy 2 Guns is a punchy action film ripped from a comic book, the film also channels about every action subgenre imaginable, and is full of wise-crackin' mirth-filled moments, sexual advances, and enough cussing and the aforementioned double-cross to fill a tip jar. Unfortunately, it's not very inventive and actually overdoes the double-cross by adding a third- and even fourth layer to muck things up. Bobby ( Denzel Washington ) and Stig ( Mark Wahlberg ) are criminals for hire, except that they're not really criminals. Stig is an undercover Navy officer, while Bobby is an undercover DEA agent, neither of whom knows each other's true identity. Circumstances

First Poster For THE RIGHT KIND OF WRONG Starring Ryan Kwanten

Here is the first poster for THE RIGHT KIND OF WRONG starring Ryan Kwanten, Sara Canning, Will Sasso and Catherine O'Hara . Magnolia Pictures will release THE RIGHT KIND OF WRONG on iTunes/OnDemand February 6, 2014 and in theaters March 14, 2014. Leo Palamino has dedicated his life to what some may call impossible dreams. At least his ex-wife Julie would call them that. But Leo is an expert at not listening to her criticism or anyone else’s for that matter because Leo is a stubborn romantic... An idealist. A dreamer. And to dream big, impossible dreams you can’t listen to the people who tell you that’s what those dreams are. It is precisely this refusal to listen to criticism that drove his ex-wife Julie to blog about Leo’s flaws as their relationship broke down. A blog... called Why You Suck that would become a cultural phenomenon. And so when we meet Leo Palamino, he is a romantic dreamer, a dedicated writer, a dishwasher in a tourist trap, and a celebrity... A man fa

2 Teaser Trailers For Transcendence

Wally Pfister’s old mucker Christopher Nolan released a teaser for his new sci-fi last week and now it’s the turn of the protégé to step up to the mic. The DP-turned-director is taking a similarly elliptical route to promoting his movie debut, Transcendence , taking a leaf out his Nolan’s book to show a little ankle but not a lot else. From these two new trailers, though, you should get a flavour of what to expect: something cerebral, sweeping and just a little sinister. The first is narrated by Morgan Freeman – yes, Professor Voiceover himself – and the second by its protagonist Johnny Depp . Depp stars as Will, a computer scientist deep into researching the singularity – the point at which artificial intelligence overtakes human and the two begin to merge. From the sounds of the film, that last part is taken literally here, as an incident forces Depp to upload his personality into the mainframe after anti-technology activists attack him. Unhung Hero DVD Review. Does Size Matter?

Unhung Hero DVD Review By: MattInRC Does size really matter? Unhung Hero seeks answers to the eternal question. Did you see the embarrassing YouTube video of the guy who got his wedding proposal rejected at a UCLA basketball game? The poor dude is Patrick Moote , and the reason for the rejection was later painfully revealed: he suffered from a small penis. This soon spread across the Internet and to talk shows, making Moote a bit of a celebrity. Determined to find out whether he was in fact too small, the actor/comedian set out on a world-wide hunt for answers. He starts at his Pacific Northwest hometown, where he shares the bad news with his parents, moves to a urologist who prescribes a regiment of pills and a pump, and eventually finds himself in Papua New Guinea and Korea to entertain some very unconventional measures. Moote is pumped, pilled, drinks strange concoctions, and later considers injections and surgery to change his length. It's an uncomfortable su

Inside Llewyn Davis Review. Isn't Terrible, But It's Far Less Than We Had Hoped

Inside Llewyn Davis Review By: MattInRC Inside Llewyn Davis is your typical recent Cohen Brothers flick, which is why we don't like it. The Cohen Brothers are certainly Hollywood's version of the lone wolf. Fiercely independent storytellers who refuse to follow convention, the duo write and direct their productions, a formula which has yielded tasty treats over the years. Fargo and Barton Fink are generally in most people's top 50 movies, while No Country for Old Men has to be on the 'I've seen it once' list of many. Unfortunately, more recent releases have not captured that energy or quirkiness, and Inside Llewyn Davis - while not terrible - is far less than we had hoped. The 1960's singer Llewyn Davis ( Oscar Isaac ) is grumpy and bitter, stuck in a dead-end performance at a local Greenwich, New York club. Davis is experiencing a serious identity crisis, having recently dealt with his singing partner's suicide and struggling t
