Rob Lowe Joins Sex Tape

The “Parks and Rec” star, embroiled in real-life sex-tape scandal in the ’80s, wouldn’t miss a movie with that title, right? Rob Lowe has scored a significant role in the Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel comedy “ Sex Tape ” — though it sounds like he’ll be keeping his clothes on this time around. The 49-year-old actor is set to play a mysterious, high-strung toy company CEO who accidentally gets hold of a sex tape the husband-wife pair Segel and Diaz make to rejuvenate their marriage. Rob Corddry plays the pair’s pal who helps them try to steal the embarrassing private performance back from Lowe, while Jack Black is set to play the CEO of a major porn company. Screenwriter Kate Angelo (“The Back-up Plan”) wrote the comedy, which is being directed by Jake Kasdan (“Orange County”). Lowe should bring some unique insight and authenticity to the film, as he was the victim of a sex tape scandal in the late ’80s when a video emerged of him having sex with two women — one 22, the othe

Grant Gustin Cast As The Flash

The Flash producers have found their speedster. Glee's Grant Gustin has landed the key role of The Flash/Barry Allen in The CW's backdoor pilot and potential Flash spinoff. Gustin will play the iconic comic book character and appear in three episodes of The CW's Arrow -- eight, nine and 20 -- the latter of which will serve as the backdoor pilot for a potential spinoff Flash series. Arrow co-creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg as well as director David Nutter are behind the potential spinoff. Berlanti, Kreisberg and DC Entertainment's Geoff Johns -- a writer/consultant on Arrow -- will pen the script for Warner Bros. Television; Nutter will direct. The potential Flash spinoff will be an origin story similar to what producers did with Stephen Amell starrer Arrow. All three Barry Allen episodes will be penned by Berlanti, Kreisberg and Johns. "When we first meet Barry Allen, he's just a forensic scientist … an ordinary man," Kreisberg tol

Grudge Match Trailer. 30 Years To Late

Here is the first trailer for Grudge Match , the film follows what happens when two old school boxers, whose careers peaked in the 1980s, are brought back together for one final, grand slam fit of fisticuffs. It’s all the idea of boxing promoter Dante ( Kevin Hart ), who spots an opportunity to reunite bitter old rivals Billy “The Kid” McDonnen ( De Niro ) and Henry “Razor” Sharp ( Stallone ), who traded blows and championship belts before Razor announced his retirement before a big deciding match. Before they get back in the ring, though, the pair meet while filming motion capture scenes for a new boxing game, and the old conflict comes bubbling back to the surface. Soon, the HBO bout is a hot ticket, but can the two old timers make it through training? While the trailer show the film is frontloading the laughs, it does appear there's a fair chunk of emotion running through this one too as the veteran fighters consider their lives and confront old demons, including Billy

We look forward to working with Robert, Gale and Dave again as we develop an entirely new story and cast of characters. It’s a big world and we can’t wait to give fans another unforgettable view of the zombie apocalypse.” Kirkman added, “After 10 years of writing the comic book series and being so close to the debut of our fourth, and in my opinion, best season of the TV series, I couldn’t be more thrilled about getting the chance to create a new corner of The Walking Dead universe. The opportunity to make a show

Jack Black To Star In Goosebumps

R.L. Stine’s family-friendly horror book series Goosebumps has been drifting through development limbo since Sony snapped them up in 2008. Despite the source material’s ongoing popularity, the film version never quite seems to have materialized. That appears to be changing, however, with news that Jack Black is in talks to star. According to The Wrap , Black is eyeing the role of a Stine-style author who is terrified when his horror creations literally leap off the page and spook him. If he does make a deal, it’ll reunite him with Shark Tale and (whisper it) Gulliver’s Travels director Rob Letterman, which suggests a lot of CG beasties could be coming our way. Though the books are beaten only by the Harry Potter series in sales, Goosebumps has taken a long time to coalesce. Writers such as 1408’s Larry Karaszewski and Scott Alexander and Disturbia’s Carl Ellsworth have taken a crack, with Jack The Giant Slayer’s Darren Lemke the most recent recruit. All the while, franchise e
