BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Ender's Game Trailer Is Here

The man who brought the world the Academy Award-winning Tsotsi and X-Men Origins: Wolverine , Gavin Hood , has a big challenge on his hands in adapting a much-loved series of sci-fi novels with Ender's Game , but at least he's passed the first challenge: the teaser poster test. Asa Butterfield (Hugo, Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang) as the film's lead, Ender Wiggin, squaring off in space against another ship. No look at his face, no mention of his big-name co-stars like Harrison Ford or Ben Kingsley , no guns or blades or anything stereotypically postery. Just... him. And an awkward and somewhat blunt tagline, sure, but if you leave that to one side for a moment it's a pretty impressive piece of postering. Ender’s Game, drawn from Orson Scott Card’s novel, takes place in the near future, where Earth is under threat from a hostile, insectoid alien race called the Formics. After two devastating attacks, the world’s forces have rallied to defend against the next

IRON MAN 3 Rules The Box Office

The Disney tentpole's North American debut is bested only by Marvel pic " The Avengers "; the threequel has taken in a massive $504.8 million internationally, led by China with $63.5 million. Kicking off the season with the pedal to the metal, Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man 3 made the record books as it opened to $175.3 million from 4,253 theaters in North America, the No. 2 debut of all time behind fellow Marvel pic The Avengers ($207.4 million), also starring Downey as Iron Man. Iron Man 3 received a glowing A CinemaScore from audiences, fueling word of mouth. Overseas, the Disney and Marvel threequel grossed $175.9 million in its second weekend, putting the 3D movie's international total at $504.8 million and early worldwide haul at $680.1 million. Internationally, Iron Man 3 - the first title in the franchise to be released in 3D -- is all but matching Avengers overseas, where 3D remains a big draw. China leads with a whopping $63.5 million, the top op

Luke Evans Is The Crow

After years of development hell, Relativity Media's new version of The Crow seems, finally, to have coalesced into a going concern. As we already knew, F. Javier Gutierrez (Before The Fall) is the film's director. But now we also, at longest last, have an actor signed and sealed to play the unfortunate anti-hero Eric Draven . The man in the corpse paint will be (*goth metal drum roll*) Luke Evans . If that's a surprise to the world at large, it's apparently not a sudden decision on the part of the filmmakers, with Deadline claiming that Evans has been top of the wishlist for some time. He was believed to be out of the running due to his commitments to Dracula Year Zero (in which he plays Dracula) and the publicity treadmill for The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug (where he's Bard the Bowman) but the potential schedule clashes have been avoided by Relativity pushing The Crow's start date to accommodate him. This new Crow was kickstarted by Stephen Norri

Silver Samurai Poster From The Wolverine

If anyone can compete with Bryan Singer in terms of figuring out Twitter as a movie PR tool, it’s The Wolverine’s James Mangold. He’s been offering vids, Vines, pics and hints as to the movie’s theme and this weekend took to the social media site to premiere a rather excellent ink-styled poster for the movie’s big bad, Silver Samurai . Crafted in much the same way as the poster for Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine   it’s an image of Kenuichio Harada (Will Yun Lee) who becomes a major problem for Logan in Japan. The Wolverine finds the hirsute hero traveling to the country, where he clashes with the Yashida crime family on behalf of love interest Mariko (Tao Okamoto). It's based on the classic Frank Miller/Chris Claremont comic run, and also stars Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Rila Fukushima, Brian Tee and Svetlana Khodchenkova. It’ll stalk into cinemas on July 26. And from the sounds of it, we’ll be seeing more from Silver Samurai soon. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Emp

Does May Finally Bring Moviegoers Back To Theaters?

Does May finally bring moviegoers back to theaters? By: MattInRC With crowds still staying away from theaters in droves - April 2013 was down 21% from April 2012 - the movie season is about a huge shot in the arm, with no less than 4 potential $200 million domestic grossers slated for release - Iron Man 3 , Star Trek Into Darkness, Fast Six, and The Hangover Part III . That's an impressive lineup, and one that Hollywood desperately needs big numbers from in order to right their ship. Let's take a look at each of these by week: May 3 Iron Man 3 is already a monster at the box office, potentially to take in a mesmerizing $175 million in its opening weekend. And while that's exactly what Hollywood needed, it's actually lower than last year's The Avengers , which opened to a $207.4 million domestic weekend. Say what you want about the film's treatment of The Mandarin, it seems like the film has already set a pretty high bar for the Summer 2013 season.

Despite having a steady job, nice apartment, beautiful girlfriend, and young son, Avery is unable to move past his unsuccessful attempt at a pro golfing career. Desperate to start over and abandon his past shortcomings, Avery leaves everything behind and becomes a new man, Arthur Newman. Directed by Dante Ariola and starring Oscar® winner Colin Firth and Emily Blunt , the eponymously titled film ARTHUR NEWMAN explores whether one can ever truly start over and, more importantly, the consequences of living a purely selfish life. Did you guys have the same vocal coach ? Emily: We did actually. Colin: She had a good one, I had a bad one. Emily: No, we had the same one. [Laughs] I
