After more than half a year of negotiations, New Line has closed deals to reunite Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis for a sequel to Horrible Bosses , the surprise hit comedy released in 2011. Jamie Foxx is also likely to return and is negotiations to reprise his role as murder consultant Motherf---er Jones for the pic, which will see Seth Gordon back in the director's chair. The original movie saw Bateman, Day and Sudeikis as harried workers who, in Strangers on a Train meets Nine to Five fashion, try to off one another's bosses, with mixed results. Foxx mentored -- the term is used loosely -- the trio. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who worked on the first movie, penned the sequel. We’re still a little over a week away from the debut of A&E’s Bates Motel , but the first six minutes of the Psycho prequel series has leaked online. Want to see? The prequel, which is set in the present day, oddly enough, takes a look at a young Norman Bates ( Freddie Highmore) and his creepy mom ( Vera Farmiga ). The series was created by executive producers Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Kerry Ehrin (Friday Night Lights), and is at least an intriguing setup for a character study. So what about the footage? It definitely has a Hitchcockian feel, and traces the death of Norman’s father. Although the Collin Ferrell/Terrence Howard thriller Dead Man Down seeks to answer a fairly basic question of revenge, it's also a story about what happens when humanity gets in the way. Ferrell (Total Recall 2012) plays the Hungarian Victor, a strong arm for Howard's (Crash) Alphonse, who's recently been sent a series of strange letters and pictures.
