Jimmy Kimmel's Movie: The Movie Trailer

Following last night's 84th Annual Academy Awards , Jimmy Kimmel debuted on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live his latest post-Oscars parody video, a trailer for Movie: The Movie , which featured an all-star cast you won't see again in this or any lifetime. How about Edward Norton as a secret agent getting hitched to former president George W. Bush played by none other than Dubya's Josh Brolin in a ceremony officiated by Antonio Banderas no less? Or Colin Farrell acting alongside a dog who plays sports? Or Tom Hanks as "Robo Warrior" in an Oscar winner faceoff with Charlize Theron ? ("Court is adjourned. Ha ha ha," he quips before blowing her away). There's also Bryan Cranston as a hot dog vendor, Jeff Goldblum as Gary Oldman 's doctor ("so sorry, senator, you're a centaur"), Samuel L. Jackson flying a soul plane, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski as a not so fairy-tale couple in a movie codirected by J.J. Abrams and Martin

New Images From The Set Of RIDDICK

Vin Diesel posted on Facebook two new pictures from the set of RIDDICK . The latest chapter of the groundbreaking saga that began with 2000′s hit sci-fi film Pitch Black and 2004′s The Chronicles of Riddick reunites writer/director David Twohy (A Perfect Getaway, The Fugitive) and star Vin Diesel (the Fast and Furious franchise, xXx). Diesel reprises his role as the antihero Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy. The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more perso

Jonah Hill To Tell A True Story

Jonah Hill had so much fun working with fellow Oscar nominee and Moneyball producer Brad Pitt that they’re back in business on another fact-based film. Hill and James Franco are attached to star in True Story , the Rupert Goold-directed adaptation of a memoir by journalist Michael Finkel. Pitt and Dede Gardner’s Plan B is are producing. Like Moneyball, this is another opportunity for Hill to veer from his comic persona. He will play Finkel , who was a writer at The New York Times Magazine in 2002 when he learned that Christian Longo was captured in Mexico after a long stint on the FBI Ten Most Wanted List for killing his family. The strange part was that he had been living under the identity of Finkel. The very next day, the real Finkel was fired by the editors of The Times, right after they ran an editor’s note declaring that he had falsified parts of an investigative article. His career seemed over, until Longo (who’ll be played by Franco ) declared that the real Finkel

Dracula To Hit The Big Screen Again

Sony Pictures has acquired a pitch from scribe Jason Keller for a period origin story on the Dracula mythology that will be produced by Joe Roth and Palak Patel. I’m hearing the deal was high six figures against seven-figures. It becomes the latest in a growing list of films about the iconic vampire borne out of the legend of Vlad the Impaler. There is also a new version of Dracula Year Zero that has risen from the grave with Gary Shore directing, Matt Sazama & Burk Sharpless writing and Moneyball‘s Mike De Luca producing. There is also an apocalyptic contemporary project coagulating that’s based on the book trilogy by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan that concluded with the recently released The Night Eternal, which Del Toro will set up when he completes Pacific Rim. And Keller himself is attached to another contemporary vampire film, adapting the Justin Cronin novel The Passage for Matt Reeves, in which government experiments on terminally ill people launches a plague of v

New This Must Be The Place Clip

Empire got their hands on a new clip from This Must Be The Place looks like Robert Smith's take on The Straight Story. Which isn't too far from the truth. Any resemblance to the Cure frontman is purely deliberate in Penn's performance - Smith was a conscious jumping-off point for the radically tousled ex-rocker Cheyenne - but the road trip he's embarking on here owes even more to The Boys From Brazil. Directed by Paolo Sorrentino, whose political thriller Il Divo won him a stack of plaudits in 2009, This Must Be The Place sees Cheyenne tap into his inner Expendable to hunt down the Nazi who killed his father. Helping in his unlikely quest is the ever-wonderful Judd Hirsch as a Simon Wiesenthal-alike Nazi hunter and the also-ever-wonderful Frances McDormand as Cheyenne's long-suffering wife. Christian Bale Will Be In Furnace

Christian Bale is in talks to star in the revenge drama project, which was once known as The Low Dweller and is being directed by Crazy Heart helmer Scott Cooper. Relativity is behind the project. Furnace was a hot spec by Brad Ingelsby when it hit the town in 2008. It centers on a man released after serving four years in prison. His hopes for a peaceful homecoming are thwarted when his younger brother is brutally murdered and he sets out for revenge. The project immediately attracted top directors such as Rupert Sanders and Ridley Scott as well as such actors as Mark Wahlberg . (Scott is now a producer on Furnace, via his banner Scott Free. Appian Way, the company run by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran, also is producing. Brooklyn Weaver of Energy Entertainment is exec producing.) The project almost came together with Bale and Sanders last year, but Bale dropped out because of scheduling reasons. The intent is for Robert Duvall , who appeared in Cooper’s
