LADY AND THE TRAMP Blu-Ray Review By: RAMA

LADY AND THE TRAMP Blu-Ray Review By: RAMA Did RAMA fall in love with this classic Disney movie again? Make sure to Follow him on Facebook and Twitter . I’d like to thank Disney and the folks who sent me this blu-ray copy since LADY AND THE TRAMP was one of the few Disney’s greats from the studio’s early golden era of animation that I never got to fully watched when I was a kid, I’d only seen bits and pieces but not the entire feature til now, so as a Disney fan, this is an opportunity that I truly appreciate. Another masterpiece but one that apparently had hints of controversy regarding the origin of the story idea.. About Lady and the Tramp: Generations of fans have fallen in love with Disney’s 15th animated masterpiece — an irresistible song-filled adventure about Lady, a lovingly pampered cocker spaniel, and Tramp, a roguish mutt from across the tracks. When Aunt Sarah moves in with her devious felines Si and Am to baby-sit, the very protective Lady soon finds hersel

Mark Millar Confirms Kick-Ass 2 & American Jesus

The sequel to the critically acclaimed comic book drama Kick-Ass will be shot this summer, writer Mark Millar has revealed. Millar, who penned the comic books from which Kick-Ass and its sequel are adapted, has told the Daily Record that both the second Kick Ass film and his new project American Jesus will be shot this summer, telling the paper: "We shoot Kick-Ass 2 and American Jesus this summer". There had been some doubt as to whether a second Kick-Ass film would happen at all after both writer Jane Goldman and director Matthew Vaughn ruled themselves out of the project. However, it appears a new writer and director have been found for the project. Millar also spoke about his new project American Jesus, which he has described as "the reverse of the Omen". That will also be shot this summer. Millar said of this: "It is the reverse of the Omen, which is about a kid who finds out he is the anti-Christ. This is a kid who finds out he is Jesus Chr

Stan Lee Creations That Should Be Made Into A Movie

Last week, Stan Lee received the lifetime achievement award from the Visual Effects Society, presumably for all the work he's given the members of the past decade. While many of Lee's Marvel co-creations dominate this century's movies, several potentially deserving and exciting properties have amazingly yet to receive the full screen treatment. Dr. Strange Given the immense visual potential, Dr. Strange is the most surprising character on this list. The second most famous creation from Lee and artist Steve Ditko, the Master of Mystic Arts previously starred in a mediocre 1978 made-for-TV movie and a forgettable 2007 direct-to-video release, plus numerous guest appearances on various Marvel cartoons. Rumors have persisted for well over a decade about a live-action feature film. The latest attempt centers around the completed script by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (the duo responsible for the recent Conan the Barbarian) that is believed to focus more on

SAFE HOUSE Lands Number 1 Over Holiday Weekend

In an 11th hour upset, " Journey 2 " pulls ahead of new entry " Ghost Rider 2 " to come in No. 3 with $26.4 million; " Ghost Rider " places No. 4 with $25.7 million, followed by " This Means War " with $20.4 million. The long Presidents Day weekend saw a trio of strong holdovers -- Safe House, The Vow and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island --top the domestic box office chart in a surprise upset over new entries. SAFE HOUSE Movie Review- THE VOW Movie Review- THIS MEANS WAR- Universal's Safe House, starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds, was in a tight race with The Vow for much of the four-day weekend, but pulled ahead to grab $28.4 million. The action pic dropped a narrow 40 percent from its opening weekend, and has now grossed $82.6 million domestically. "A broader audience is finding the movie appealing, Universal president of domestic distribution Nikki Rocco says. "And I think the Ryan Reynolds factor is making

I Am Legend Sequel On It's Way

Warner Bros has closed deals with Akiva Goldsman and Overbrook Entertainment to produce another installment of I Am Legend , the 2007 hit film. The intention is for Will Smith to reprise his role as scientist Robert Neville, who was the last man on Earth doing battle with a mutated mob in New York City after an apocalyptic man-made virus wiped out the population. A deal was made with Arash Amel to write the script. The film is not being called a prequel, which had been rumored for the past few years. But clearly Warner Bros sees more room to roam on a film that grossed $584 million worldwide. The original film is based on the novel by Richard Matheson. Smith won’t commit until the script is ready and I haven’t heard yet where I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence stands on the whole thing. The other quandary is this: If it isn’t a prequel, how to get past Smith’s character’s demise at the first film’s end? These of course are semantics in the tentpole game. Warner Bros and Legendar

Red Sequel Has Found A Director

Dean Parisot is in final negotiations to direct the sequel to Summit's hit action movie Red . Red saw Bruce Willis lead a cast that included Helen Mirren, John Malkovich and Morgan Freeman , among others, as over-the-hill special ops agents forced out of retirement. The quartet is expected to return for the sequel, although no deals are signed and sealed. Robert Schwentke directed the first movie, which hit theatres in the fall 2010 and grossed almost $200 million worldwide. The movie gave Summit another franchise on top of its Twilight movies and showed the still-strong viability of older actors such as Willis. Erich and Jon Hoeber, who wrote the script for the first installment, penned the sequel. Summit, which has been bought by Lionsgate, is eying a production start later in the year, most likely after Willis shoots Die Hard 5. Parisot, who last directed 2005's Fun With Dick and Jane , beat out several other directors for the gig. The  director is best known

Kyle Chandler Navy Seal Team 6′s Film

Kyle Chandler is the latest name to join the ensemble of the untitled Kathryn Bigelow -directed drama about the Navy SEAL Team 6′s long hunt for Osama bin Laden. That hunt culminated with the fatal shooting last year of the Al-Qaeda leader and mastermind of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. I’ve heard that Chandler will be playing a CIA agent. The Mark Boal-scripted drama for Sony Pictures and Annapurna Pictures stars Jason Clarke, Joel Edgerton, Chris Pratt, Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong and Edgar Ramirez . The picture is moving forward even as the Pentagon announced it is investigating charges made by Rep. Peter King that Oscar-winning The Hurt Locker tandem Bigelow and Boal somehow got inside information about the mission from the Obama administration in preparing the script. Sony Pictures has dated the film for release on December 19, deliberately steering clear of the presidential elections. Chandler most recently starred in the JJ Abrams-directed Super 8, and wrapped the Mark Wahl
