THE IRON LADY Movie Review By: RAMA

THE IRON LADY Movie Review By: RAMA So what did RAMA think of THE IRON LADY , was she as tough as she looked? Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter . If I could sum up this entire film in two words, those words would be ‘one must’. I couldn’t keep track on how many times I heard the characters say ‘one must’, but then again, I don’t know much about the real Margaret Thatcher, because one must know her well enough to judge whether the words ‘one must’ are appropriately or over used in this biopic. All joking aside, sadly this rather average biopic doesn’t fully capitalize on the great performances by Meryl Streep and Jim Broadbent . It occupies itself with excessive flashbacks and ghostly encounters. At one point I thought I was watching ‘A Beautiful Mind’ because the film seemingly makes Thatcher look like she’s lost her mind.. THE IRON LADY is a surprising and intimate portrait of Margaret Thatcher (Meryl Streep), the first and only female Prime Minister of Th

Tom Hardy Talks Al Capone In Cicero

Tom Hardy has spoken to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye about his upcoming role as Al Capone in Cicero . Hardy will play the infamous gangster after he has finished shooting Mad Max: FuryRoad . He told Bamigboye: "I’ve been working with Warner Bros, watching their gangster films — the ones with James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart and Edward G. Robinson," naming The Petrified Forest, The Public Enemy and Little Caesar as examples. "It’s interesting to get them, and a bit of Capone, into the bloodstream… The idea isn’t to remake those films but to get a flavour of them as we explore Capone’s career as a racketeer." On the status of the movie (which is set to be directed by Harry Potter's David Yates), Hardy added: "The idea at the moment is of doing a trilogy of films, but nothing is set. Everyone is just talking and exploring." Tom Hardy will next be seen in This Means War, before appearing as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises Please Leave A Co

Tim Burton Wants Robert Downey Jr As Geppetto For Pinocchio Film

Tim Burton 's interest in tackling a live-action version of Pinocchio is heating up,  And Burton's choice to topline the movie is Robert Downey Jr . as Geppetto, the woodcarver who creates the puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy. The Pinocchio story was first published in an Italian children's book written by Carlo Collodi and has been adapted several times, including the 1940 animated Disney classic. In the version being developed at Warner Bros., Geppetto embarks on a quest to reunite with his missing marionette. The well-regarded script is by Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller. Dan Jinks (American Beauty) is producing. Neither Burton nor Downey has a deal with Warners, but sources say Burton is keen to direct the film and has begun talks with the studio, so it's just a question of whether Pinocchio will be his next movie. The Alice in Wonderland director also is eyeing an adaptation of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children at Fox, among other

Charlize Theron Gives The Evil Eyes As The Evil Queen In Snow White

A new photo from Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman shows the evil queen, played by Charlize Theron , giving off a very deadly glare. In the new image, Theron can be seen wearing a striking, spiky crown, and a very royal looking metallic outfit. She sits atop her thrown, giving someone the evil eye. This is the same outfit that the queen wears in some of her most memorable scenes from the trailer, like when she holds a young girl by her throat and seems to suck the life right out of her. There’s no denying that Theron’s version of the evil queen is going to rule Universal’s film. In the first trailer , which premiered in November, her character not only narrates, but also screams like the best of villains, takes a milk bath and turns into a bunch of big, scary looking blackbirds. Universal’s version of the fairytale, set for release on June 1, sees Kristen Stewart as Snow White, who must defend herself from the Evil Queen ( Theron ) who has enlisted a Huntsman ( Chris Hems
