BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

MY WEEK WITH MARILYN Movie Review By: RAMA

MY WEEK WITH MARILYN Movie Review By: RAMA Did RAMA fall in love with Michelle Williams ' performance as Marilyn Monroe ? Make sure to Follow him on Facebook and Twitter . MY WEEK WITH MARILYN is exquisite! Michelle Williams’ portrayal of the legendary Marilyn Monroe is luminous and heartbreaking. It must be challenging to play one of cinema’s all time bombastic bombshells, Williams doesn’t look like Marilyn Monroe but she captures Monroe’s essence, her soft spoken voice and her sultry, teasing, mannerism. The moment Marilyn Monroe walks into a room, everybody drops whatever it is that they’re doing and all eyes behold her, Williams disappears in her character… In the early summer of 1956, 23 year-old Colin Clark, just down from Oxford and determined to make his way in the film business, worked as a lowly assistant on the set of “ THE PRINCE AND THE SHOWGIRL ”, the film that united Sir Laurence Olivier with Marilyn Monroe, who, whilst shooting, was also on honeymoon wi

THE ADVENTURES OF TITIN Movie Review By: Rama

THE ADVENTURES OF TITIN Movie Review By: Rama So did RAMA fall in love with TITIN ? Make sure to Follow him on Facebook and Twitter . It’s every bit as exciting as I’d hoped. THE ADVENTURES OF TITIN rocks! I think there should be a TINTIN theme ride 3D at Universal Studios because the film sure feels like you’re in one. Master storytellers Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson have brought to life one of all time’s iconic characters from the world of adventure and mystery. The CG mo-cap 3D turns out to be the perfect method and the perfect medium for this cinematic splendor. The action sequences are some of the most elaborate, the most clever and the most creative I’ve ever seen and they’re non-stop from start to end. Even if you didn’t grow up reading Herge’s comic books or watching the cartoon adaptation, Spielberg’s TINTIN is one of the best times you’ll have at the movies this year… Paramount Pictures and Columbia Pictures Present a 3D Motion Capture Film “ The Adventures o

Jeremy Renner Talks Bourne

No movie has attracted quite as much speculation in recent years as the Bourne sequel/reboot/thingamajig. Rumour and counter-rumour have swirled around the project like mist around Prometheus . When Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass demurred and Jeremy Renner and Tony Gilroy stepped up, the question was: who is Renner playing and how would The Bourne Legacy fit into the existing universe? "My character is called Aaron Cross ," Renner told us, "but he ends up having a bunch of different names. For fans of the franchise, [The Bourne Legacy] has that same ticking clock, but it's a new programme and new characters." So is Treadstone still involved? "Yeah, it's that same deal, it's just a new set of agents with a different leash. It's the same tempo and pace but more expansive and bigger. The differences are pretty vast but you'll know it's a Bourne movie." Please Leave A Comment- Source- Empire

Stallone & Klitschko Brothers Bringing Rocky To Broadway

Apparently not bowed by the train wreck that was Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark , Sylvester Stallone is teaming up with world champion boxing brothers Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko to make a musical version of his Oscar-winning boxing film Rocky. Stallone and the Klitschkos, who will produce Rocky: The Musical together with Kevin King Templeton of Stallone’s Rouge Marble shingle, announced the project in Hamburg on Monday. Stallone said in giving the pugilist classic the Andrew Lloyd Webber treatment he would be focusing on Rocky’s romantic side. "At the end of the day, Rocky is a love story and he could never have reached the final bell without Adrian,” said Stallone. “To see this story coming to life on a musical stage makes me proud. And it would make Rocky proud." Broadway veteran Thomas Meehan (The Producers) will write the script to Rocky: the Musical. Ragtime’s Tony-award winning lyricist Lynn Ahrens and composer Stephen Flaherty will re-team for the music,

Martin Scorsese To Direct The Snowman

Norwegian author Jo Nesbo and Brit production company Working Title Films have confirmed that Martin Scorsese will direct the feature film adaptation of Nesbo’s global bestseller The Snowman . Scorsese had been circling the project for some time now but Nesbo had to give final approval for the director. He has done so, confirming to a Swedish newspaper that Scorsese will direct the first English-language adaptation of his work. Nesbo added that he would not insist Snowman be shot on location in Olso, where the book is set. With Snowman, Scorsese will shift away from the family-friendly approach of Hugo to the crime thriller genre of his Oscar-winning The Departed. The novel features Norwegian detective Harry Hole, described as an anti-authoritarian, anti-sobriety cop, who investigates particularly gruesome killings. In Snowman, the seventh book in the Harry Hole franchise, a son finds his mother’s pink scarf wrapped around the neck of a ominous looking snowman. Hole realizes she
