With Comic-Con quickly approaching The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed has compiled an early look at what, in some cases, is confirmed and other cases rumored to be heading to Comic-Con International. The wait is nearly over for Transformers fans. Paramount has set June 28 as the opening date for Transformers: Dark of the Moon , which will screen exclusively at 3D and IMAX-equipped locations nationwide. “Michael Bay has created an incredibly engaging and immersive 3D experience with this latest movie, one that will undoubtedly be among the most entertaining movie going experiences of the summer,” said Paramount’s vice chairman Rob Moore. “Providing fans an opportunity to see it early in 3D is a great way to kick off the movie’s opening.” Those not wanting to see the film in 3-D will have to wait a day, as the movie opens wide from 12 a.m. onwards June 29. This came out of nowhere. On Saturday me and my family were watching A Minute To Win it and Steve O and Ryan Dunn were on the show. And now this news. Jackass star Ryan Dunn died early Monday morning in a car crash. He was 34. NBC Philadelphia reports that Dunn and another passenger died at 2:30 a.m. in West Goshen, Pennsylvania. Police said the car slammed into a tree and burst into flames. S Bam Margera's mother, April, confirmed the news to a local radio station, 93.3 WMMR, and also to TMZ.com . Michael Chabon has been tapped to write Magic Kingdom , Disney’s family adventure project that is being directed by Jon Favreau . Heat Vision first reported the author's possible involvement in March, when the Pulitzer Prize-winning author initially talked with Favreau about it but before any meetings with Disney had taken place. Since then, deal-making quietly got under way and an agreement closed this week. Chabon will now begin tackling a story whose details are being kept under wraps but is set in Disney’s flagship theme park and may even be connected to other parks worldwide. Ron Moore, who revived the recent Battlestar Galactica TV series, wrote the initial draft but Kingdom re-routed into a different direction when Favreau came on board. Strike Entertainment is producing Magic Kingdom. Chabon is a big Disney aficionado and spent time at the Anaheim park with Favreau.
