Today we got our hands on a T.V spot and a behind the scene featurette for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides . The film stars J ohnny Depp, Penélope Cruz, Ian McShane, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Gemma Ward, and Richard Griffiths . The film is scheduled to be released on May 20, 2011. Watch the clips after the Jump... That metallic sheen could suggest any number of likelihoods. Perhaps Jack Sparrow will find an island of pirate Terminators, or get his skeleton laced with adamantium (either of which we would totally pay to see). Possibly it hints at an encounter with the Silver Surfer, or, at a stretch (because those other suggestions are so plausible) with Chromeskull from Laid to Rest. Or maybe it's a metaphor for On Stranger Tides itself: an entry in a franchise that's comfortably familiar but slightly tweaked. Universal Pictures has set Vera Farmiga to star with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds in Safe House , the Daniel Espinosa-directed drama. Production is already under way, with Reynolds playing a young agent assigned to escort a dangerous criminal to safety after they are attacked at a safe house. Brendan Gleeson, Sam Shepard, Robert Patrick and Liam Cunningham will also star in the drama. Scott Stuber is producing and Intrepid Pictures' Trevor Macy and Marc D. Evans are exec producers. Farmiga will play a CIA operative supervising Reynolds' character. Farmiga stars in Source Code and made her directorial debut in Higher Ground, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival. ComingSoon has confirmed that Johnny Depp will be making a small cameo in the upcoming 21 jump Street film. Who he will be playing is still unknown as of now, but with time I am sure it will be leaked out. The film directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), the big screen adaptation stars Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube, Brie Larson, Rob Riggle, DeRay Davis, Dave Franco and Jake Johnson . Based on the Fox series that ran from 1987 to 1991, the movie will center on two undercover cops ( Hill and Tatum ), who are assigned to work in schools. Cube is playing the police chief and Larson is the female lead. Hill had previously said that they had written a "really funny" cameo for Depp and was hopeful that he would do it. Nintendo on Monday posted a full fiscal-year profit that was down 66 percent and also announced the successor to its hit Wii console, sales of which have been slowing worldwide. Hit by the decline in Wii sales , a strong yen and the disruption to the launch of its 3DS portable console in Japan caused by the March 11 earthquake, Nintendo announced a profit of 77.62 billion yen ($945 million) for the year to March 31. Revenue fell nearly 30 percent to 1.014 trillion yen, following a 22 percent drop last year. This is the second straight year of falling revenue and profit for the Kyoto-based firm, which posted net income of 228.64 billion yen for the year to March 2010, itself a drop of 18 percent. Nevertheless, Nintendo did manage to stay in the black throughout the global slowdown. Looks like the combined power of Tyler Perry in a fat suit, the draw of Robert Pattinson and a group of big cats wasn’t enough to challenge animated birds as Rio has continued its box office domination across the world and in the US this Easter weekend. Across the pond, the feathered friends from Fox and Blue Sky earned $26.8 million, bringing the movie’s US total to $81.2 million.
