New Kids Book-Where Did Mommy’s Superpowers Go?

The nice thing about running your own website and not having Hollywood big dogs controlling you like some of the film websites out there is you can help your friends out with projects they are working on. My good friend Randy is a not only the president of The world's largest Arnold Schwarzenegger Fan site in the world, ( TheArnoldFans ) he is also a great illustrator and digital artist. Visit his site if you need any work done. He has over 25 books published and he designed the header for my site  and the guy who helped me come up with the website name.  A story for another time. Randy has a new children's book out. Where Did Mommy’s Superpowers Go ? is a heartwarming story for all parents struggling to balance a serious health crisis while caring for small children. Mommy and her son love to play together and act like superheroes! But one day, Mommy has something serious to discuss. She explains to her little boy that the doctor has found some "yucky stuff&quo

Lara Croft Film Is On The Way

Lara Croft is back in action. The heroine of one of the biggest video games from the 1990s is once again getting the movie treatment, this time from heavyweight producer Graham King and his GK Films. GK Films has acquired the feature film rights to Tomb Raider and will reboot the action-adventure franchise aiming for a 2013 release for the first film. The new movie will be produced by King and Tim Headington. Angelina Jolie starred in the two previous big-screen adaptations made by Paramount, and with King having produced The Tourist , the Jolie-Johnny Depp thriller, some tongues were wagging about the potential for a new Jolie Raider movie. But sources say GK Films, which has not hired a writer yet, may be looking to do a Lara Croft origin story rather continue her adventures. According to GK Films, the goal is to "create daring new adventures for the young and dynamic Lara Croft." The game was created in 1996 by Eidos, now part of entertainment group Square En

NBC’s The Event In Trouble?

A musical episode of House powered Fox to the ratings win on Tuesday night, while two hours of The Bachelor gave ABC a close second. But the two-hour return of NBC’s The Event tumbled double-digits compared to its last original in November. House pulled in a 3.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 11.1 million viewers overall. It was flat week-to-week, but still the top-rated show of the night. The Chicago Code continued to put up middling ratings (2.1, 7.5 million) and was also flat week-to-week. The Bachelor (8-10 p.m.) was down 11% week-to-week but still gave ABC a win in the 9 p.m. hour (3.2, 10.2 million). It was a disastrous return for NBC’s The Event , which was down 26% from its previous original on November 29, averaging a 1.4 rating with 5.2 million viewers from 8-10 p.m. And while NBC points to the show’s better-than-average DVR numbers (38% in live-plus-seven), the live ratings still do not bode well for the show’s future prospects. CBS had a lineup of mostly

POTC: On Stranger Tides Featurette

Disney has delivered us another sneak peek featurette for the upcoming film Pirates of The Caribbean On Stranger Tides . In the sneak peek we get footage that we saw at Comic-Con 2010 and  also some new footage. On Stranger Tides sees Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa, off in search of the Fountain of Youth, facing certain opposition from Ian McShane as the dastardly Blackbeard. Penelope Cruz, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Gemma Ward, Oscar Jaenada, Sam Clafin and Stephen Graham are also setting sail, with Rob Marshall at the helm. The film comes ashore next May. Watch the clip after the Jump... That metallic sheen could suggest any number of likelihoods. Perhaps Jack Sparrow will find an island of pirate Terminators, or get his skeleton laced with adamantium (either of which we would totally pay to see). Possibly it hints at an encounter with the Silver Surfer, or, at a stretch (because those other suggestions are so plausible) with Chro
