BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Zack Snyder To Direct Superman Movie

Zack Snyder To Direct Superman Movie Updated: Zack Snyder just tweeted this on his twitter account. Can u Guess what picture? @ZackSnyder: I finally get to put my 32 cents in... Zack Snyder has been chosen to direct the new Superman movie, which Christopher Nolan is producing for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures. Negotiations began earlier today. Snyder had been on the list of helmers ensconced in meetings with Nolan and Warners execs, who in recent weeks have talked to Darren Aronofsky, Ben Affleck, Matt Reeves and Tony Scott . The job was so coveted that even Robert Zemeckis , retired to the world of performance capture, considered returning to live-action filmmaking in order to nab the gig. A new Superman movie is one of the studio's top priorities, not only since it serves as linchpin for its line of DC superhero-based films, but especially since Warners needs to be in production on a new Superman movie by 2011 or risk losing certain copyrights to the heirs

Hangover 2 Details

You Ready For More Mr. Chow? Todd Phillips is a busy man. After making comedy look pretty effortless with The Hangover , he's back hoping to repeat the trick with roadtripper Due Date, all while gearing up for the another dose of Rohypnol-fuelled mayhem with The Hangover 2 . The sequel, scheduled to start shooting later this month, will take the bruised and battered pals to climes near and far - and in both cases, no doubt, seriously hazardous. "It takes place in Bangkok and LA," Phillips told Empire. "There's gonna be some fucked-up surprises." While the potential for fucked-up surprises in Patpong is virtually limitless, it's less of a shock to learn that Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms will be back at the heart of the carnage. "The three guys are back," Phillips said. "Mr. Chow's back too." More carnage, more eccentric gangster weirdness from Ken Jeong and the promise of a tiger encounter in its na

"The Social Network" Tops The Box Office

"The Social Network" Tops The Box Office A curious box-office creature, Sony's " The Social Network " appears more tortoise than hare. The David Fincher-helmed drama about the creation of Facebook posted an estimated $23 million to top the domestic box office during the weekend. Yet the "Social" launch fell in the lower end of projections, despite showing broad demographic bandwidth. Prerelease interest in the PG-13 pic was keenest among younger males, even though dramas tend to play older. But as things turned out, opening audiences for "Social" were comprised 53% of females, with 55% of patrons aged 25 or older. The older-skewing profile could be good news for the film's longer-term prospects. Such pics often show sturdy legs, and dramas also tend to stretch grosses over a longer play period. "It's playing very broadly, and this is a terrific start," Sony distribution president Rory Bruer said. "This is a mov

Wonder Woman Returning To TV

Wonder Woman Returning To TV This has to be the highest-profile effort to bring Wonder Woman to television: One of TV's best-known creators, The Practice's David E. Kelley , has come on board to write and produce a new series project about the female superhero. The project, from Warner Bros Television where Kelley is based, and Warner Bros' DC Entertainment, will be taken out to the networks shortly. Kelley, who has created several female centered shows like Ally McBeal , has wanted to tackle a contemporary take on the World War II-era Amazon. He recently met with the DC team who also have been looking for ways to launch a new Wonder Woman TV franchise. The comic book Wonder Woman character has evolved significantly since she first appeared in a 1941 issue of All Star Comics and recently underwent a controversial makeover. Details on Kelley's TV series are being kept under wraps, and it is not clear if the new Wonder Woman aka Diana Prince will be the old familiar

Fox To Bring Us 'Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' Film

Fox To Bring Us 'Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' Film After a hard fought auction that included Sony and Paramount and Universal and Summit, Twentieth Century Fox has emerged the victor for the hottest project in Hollywood right now: the live-action adaptation of the Seth Grahame-Smith macabre novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter with director Timur Bekmambetov and producer Tim Burton who used their own money to option the book earlier this year. It's a 3D re-imagining of Lincoln's life that depicts the 16th president as an axe-throwing, highly accomplished killer of vampires, an obsession of his since those bloodsuckers supposedly took the life of his mother. Taking revenge, Lincoln wreaks havoc on the vampires and their slave-owning protectors. Only in Hollywood would such wild fantasy with the reputation of one of America's greatest Presidents be in such demand. Fox wanted the project so badly that when the filmmakers came onto the lot, the studio had bloody ax

J.K. Rowling May Write Another Harry Potter Novel?

Harry Potter Could Return? J.K. Rowling is leaving open the possibility. She told Oprah Winfrey in a taped interview airing Friday that she may someday write another novel in the popular series. " could definitely "  Rowling says the characters are still in her head and she "could definitely" write several new books about them. She says: "I'm not going to say I won't." For now, she feels she's moved on to a new phase of her writing. More than 400 million copies of the books about the boy wizard have been sold. Rowling says fame brought extreme pressures, including paparazzi and reporters searching her trash. She says it was "like being a Beatle" and there was a time she "was barely hanging by a thread." Forbes magazine ranks Rowling as one Britain's richest women. Please Leave A Comment- Source- AP

Glee's Dianna Agron And Emma Stone Up For Mary Jane In Spider-Man Reboot. And Who Might Play Venom

Glee's Dianna Agron And Emma Stone Up For Mary Jane In Spider-Man Reboot. And Who Might Play Venom The search for a young actress to star alongside Andrew Garfield in the rebooted Spider-Man is intensifying. I'm told that Sony Pictures Entertainment has added a couple of contenders for the role. They are Dianna Agron , who stars in the hit series Glee and Georgina Haig, star of the Ben C. Lucas-directed Wasted on the Young, which premiered to acclaim at the Toronto International Film Festival. Agron just tested last night, though there are questions of availability because she is such a major part of a hit TV show. They join a small group of actresses previously in the mix. The main other contenders are Zombieland and Easy A star Emma Stone , Alice in Wonderland star Mia Wasikowska , and Dominique McElligott , who starred in the 2009 Sony Pictures Classics release Moon . These actresses are being considered for the roles of Gwen Stacy , Peter Parker's first love,

Smallville Episode 1 "Lazarus"Review By: Jason Albrecht

Smallville Episode 1 "Lazarus"Review By: Jason Albrecht Smallville is a comic lover’s embarrassment. I want to like it, and at times I do (very few and very far between). Last season had a few bright points ( Hawkman for one), but the season premiere let down every hope I had from the season finale. I have nothing good to say about it. Nothing. It had moments where it could have stopped being reserved and grabbed the bull by the reigns. Have Chloe become Dr. Fate . How cool would that have been? But it would have been too bold for Smallville. It’s the last season for Clark ’s sake. Give him the suit early and make us love him. Instead they decided that he needs to be taught another lesson, again. At least we saw this season’s villain: Darkseid (the impending darkness hinted at heavy handedly last season and throughout the first episode of this season). But seriously? He formed out of a moving cloud of smoke?? This isn’t Lost and that’s no smoke monster.

Justin Timberlake & Jimmy Fallon Give You A History Lesson On Rap

Justin Timberlake &  Jimmy Fallon Give You A History Lesson On Rap Justin Timberlake was plugging his new movie " The Social Network " on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" last night, the singer obliged fans with an all-too-brief return to the microphone -- to run through 15 hip-hop classics in a hilarious duet with Fallon. Watch the video after the Jump.. What was clearly a cleverly planned and carefully rehearsed medley began with a seemingly spontaneous chat about "Late Night" house band the Roots . Fallon asked Timberlake if he'd grown up with hip-hop, and talk turned to legendary late-'70s crew the Sugarhill Gang . Moments later, the two were out of their seats, microphones in hand, rhyming along to the group's sing-songy classic " Rapper's Delight ." With drummer ?uestlove and the Roots providing the backbeat, the pair then ran through brief verses from over a dozen more memorable hits, including the Beastie Boys&#
