BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

"X-Men: First Class"Gets A Rewrite

"X-Men: First Class"Gets A Rewrite Director Matthew Vaughn is hard at work on " X-Men: First Class " in London but he took some time out Sunday to catch a screening of " Inception ." He enjoyed the Christopher Nolan epic immensely -- even though it prompted him to scrap a dozen pages of the " First Class " script. "I saw 'Inception,' which I loved," Vaughn said Monday. "But my heart sank when I saw that a few of the ideas we had were up [on the screen]. So it's either leave it in and look as if you're copying or change things. We completely ripped out about 12 pages of the script and the storyboards." X-Men projections The jettisoned sequence was a sort of dream-space combat, according to Vaughn; that reminded me of "psi war" scenes like the one here on the right from " The Uncanny X-Men" No. 117 way back in 1979, but the filmmaker said for the film the fight involving Professor X ( Ja

Zack Snyder To Direct Another Comic Book Film "Mage" "Watchmen" producer Lloyd Levin is set to bring seminal '80s comicbook " Mage " to the bigscreen. "It has always been a favorite book of mine," said Levin, whose comicbook-to-bigscreen credits also include the "Hellboy" films. "It's one of the great untapped comicbooks from the '80s renaissance that also spawned "Watchmen" and "Batman: Dark Knight." Levin will finance development and production of "Mage," which was previously in development at Spyglass with Zac

Guillermo del Toro's Don't Be Afraid of the the Dark Trailer Here is the first trailer for the Guillermo del Toro produced film Don't Be Afraid of the the Dark . The movie was directed by first time feature film director Troy Nixey, and it stars Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce, Bailee Madison , and Jack Thompson . Rachel Weisz The Deep Blue Sea

Rachel Weisz Has the Big O She’s in advanced talks to play the wife in British director Terence Davies ’ adaptation of the 1952 play The Deep Blue Sea, says the Daily Mail. Even today, Terrance Rattigan’s script feels like wrenching stuff. Rachel Weisz would play a woman who leaves her companionable husband when she becomes sexually enslaved by an alcoholic ex-fighter pilot. Although she’s 40, it’s the first time she’s ever had an orgasm. Having smashed up her marriage, she then sticks her head in a gas oven when her booze-addled boyfriend walks out on her. Greta Scacchi played the part in a London stage revival a couple of years ago. Peggy Ashcroft , who originally played Hester Collyer opposite Kenneth More as her lover, complained the role made her feel as if she was walking around on stage naked. Rattigan wrote the play after an old boyfriend of his committed suicide. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Deadline

The slow motion in the trailer just turned me off and nothing about it impressed me. The thing that the film has on its side is the 3D technology. Inception Is On Top Again For Third Week

Inception Is On Top Again For Third Week It looked like Dinner for Schmucks might actually be enough to topple the current box office champion, Inception. But by the end of play Sunday, Christopher Nolan’s Cobb and the team pulled off another victory to give the dream thieves a third week atop the charts in the States, Inception nabbing $27.5 million and the Schmucks running away with $23.3 million. Salt slipped down to third place, taking $19.2 million, while Despicable Me stole $15.5 million for fourth. But even the kiddie/3D cash boost factor couldn’t save Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore , with the animal spies sequel bringing in just $12.5 million, which hopefully means this might be the end for the franchise. That said, given the nine-year wait between the first two, maybe we should be wary that, like a horror movie villain, another one could spring up in a decade. Zac Efron won’t be too thrilled either: his latest stab at grown-up filmmaking respecta
