Pictures' Green Lantern . Hammond is a petty criminal on the run from the law when he discovers the fragments of a strange meteor in the woods (later retconned as part of the same meteor that lands in Africa, super-evolving Gorilla Grodd and the other gorillas of Gorilla City). Observing that radiation from the meteor has caused the nearby plants to evolve rapidly, Hammond decides to kidnap four scientists and expose them to the meteor. The radiation causes their intellects to evolve, but also has the side effect of sapping their wills. Hammond is able to force the scientists to use their heightened intellect to create amazing new inventions, which Hammond sells for his own profit. First Look:  Jason Momoa As Conan Latino Review got there hands on a few set photos of Jason Momoa as Conan. From the big screen reboot of the Robert E. Howard classic character Conan. The reboot by Millenium Pictures focuses on a younger Conan and his wild barbarian ways. Dark Horse has a really good Conan series right now that also is focusing on a younger Conan. Remember they are set photos so they are not the best quality of pictures. I am really hoping they do this film justice and I am praying to CROM that they do not screw up this film we all grew up on. "Kick-Ass" Kicks Ass Review by Windy Windy reviews “Kick-Ass”.  Take a swing by her website and check out what she’s been up to lately. “Kick-Ass” Kicks Ass “Kick-Ass”, directed by Matthew Vaughn and starring Aaron Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Chloe Moretz (“Hit-Girl”), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (“Red Mist”), Nicholas Cage (“Big Daddy”) and Mark Strong (Frank D’Amico), truly does kick ass. “Kick-Ass” has a somewhat similar formula to films such as “Date Movie”, “Epic Movie” and “Dance Movie”, but follows a story of its own with a distinct plot and is more successful at engaging the audience.  There are plenty of odes to other superhero movies including “Superman” (soundtrack), “Spiderman” (dialogue), “Batman” (costume) and “The Matrix” (action sequences).  There are even some similarities to “Superbad”, aside from having Christopher Mintz-Plasse in the film.  However, “Kick-Ass” succeeds where the other formula movies fail. Iron Man 2 Movie Review By: Beevers SPOILER ALERT Just left the theater and have to say I really enjoyed Iron Man 2.  I do think that the first one was better but the second one was definitely good too.  One interesting thing to note is that the movie is missing a few scenes that were shown in trailers, such as Pepper kissing Tony's helmet before he jumps from the plane.  I am sure that we will see these scenes when the movie is released on DVD and Blu Ray though. The movie introduces us to quite a few new characters.  These include Mickey Rourke who does an awesome job as Ivan Vanko (aka Whiplash), the son of the man that helped Howard Stark design the first arc reactor.  There is Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer, a rival weapons manufacturer.  Also, a noteworthy addition is Scarlett Johansson as Natalie Rushman/Natasha Romanoff, Tony's new assistant and an undercover agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. J.J. Abrams And Steven Speilberg's Super 8 Viral Begins Ok First the trailer was amazing and has got my attention.   I have seen the new J.J. Abrams / Steven Speilberg Super 8 trailer only once and really didn't notice anything,  but I would have never thought to go through it and actually try to find anything hidden, or look for something that may open the doors to some other information that will open more doors to other things... scary things? Like the scariest thing I ever saw? Because that is exactly what this new trailer has led us to. The people who did all this research did an amazing job, I would never have the time or patience to do it. The first thing I want to show you is this awesome creepy screenshot that comes from the trailer that perhaps many of you missed. It pops up right before the letters pass over the camera lens at the end of the trailer. This was taken by Carlton Halpert. It looks like a kids face? Or some kind of humanoid Alien? You tell me.

Luke Cage Film Getting Some Buzz Marvel has wanted to develop and make some lower budget movies based on 2nd and 3rd tier Marvel characters. And it looks like Luke Cage's number might get called. A reconiable Hollywood actor is currently having preliminary discussions with Marvel Studios about bringing Luke Cage to the big screen.We reported back in January about hearing some buzz that Tyrese Gibson was interested in the role? The character was created by Archie Goodwin and John Romita Sr. He first appeared in Luke Cage, Hero For Hire #1 in June of 1972. He obtained his powers in a terrible accident leaving him with near impervious skin and superhuman strength. I think Luke Cage would make for a very cool Marvel movie, and his story could be told on a decently low budget, so this is the type of film that would fit perfectly for Marvels movie plans.
