Next James Bond Film Delayed

Next James Bond Film Delayed  Don't hold your breath for the next James Bond film, looks like it's been put on hold for the time being. Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, today announced they have suspended development on the next James Bond film previously scheduled for release 2011/2012. "Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on 'Bond 23' indefinitely. We do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of 'Bond 23,'" stated Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli jointly. EON Productions have produced twenty two James Bond films since 1962. In 1995, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli took over the 007 franchise from Albert R 'Cubby' Broccoli and are responsible for producing some of the most successful James Bond films ever, including Casino Royale and more recently Quantum of Solac

HIGH School Trailer

HIGH School Trailer First off I would consider this to be a Red-band trailer with all the F bombs that they let off during the trailer.  So you have been warned.  HIGH School debuted The Sundance Film Festival. And wouldn't you know it, they released the trailer on 4:20.  How ironic since the premise of the film surrounds marijuana. The trailer give you a hit of what the movie is about without giving to much away. The film was directed by John Stalberg, and stars Adrien Brody, Michael Chiklis, Colin Hanks, Sean Marqutte, and Matt Burke. Synopsis: So it’s the end of the school year, and smarmy Principal Gordon (Michael Chiklis) has suddenly instituted a zero-tolerance crusade against his nemesis, the reviled marijuana. A mandatory drug test for all students is to be administered, failure of which will result in immediate expulsion. Normally, this would be of no consequence to straight-arrow valedictorian Henry Burke, except he just tried ganja for the very first time. W

Kick-Ass Slays The "Dragon"

Kick-Ass Slays The "Dragon" As of Sunday night I was pretty nervous that Kick-Ass lost the number one spot to "How to Train Your Dragon".  It looks like it was a close race but Kick-Ass ended up on top.  Not taking anything away from Dragon, which was a great film. If you haven't seen the movie you need to make a trip out to the theaters and spread the word. I am really hoping that word of mouth about this film will give this movie legs with all the new films coming out. Despite preliminary reports, "Kick-Ass" took home the top spot at the domestic box office. Grossing $19.8 million, Lionsgate's superhero action pic edged DreamWorks Animation's 3D kid pic, "How to Train Your Dragon" ($19.6 million) in a closely contested race. Gatchaman / G-Force Production Trailer

Gatchaman / G-Force  Production Trailer Being raised in Japan, I have very fond memories of Gatchaman, watching the show, and playing with the toys as a kid. There has been talk about this film being made since 2007, when TMNT director Kevin Munroe and writer Paul Dini had a say in the project until they left due to creative differences. The trailer does get your hopes up for an upcoming film, but I wouldn't get to excited. Reason I say that is Imagi Studios was to put out this film but got shut down in February of this year. So unless another studio picks this film up, I just don't see it happening. Originated in Japan in the early 1970s as the television series “Science Ninja Team Gatchaman.” Aired in the U.S. as “Battle of the Planets” and “G-Force,” it soon became a widely popular syndicated TV series. The story is set in a future world grappling with environmental and technological issues and it focuses on five reluctant heroes whose remarkable genetic code make

Sacha Baron Cohen To Play Walter Mitty?

Sacha Baron Cohen To Play Walter Mitty? The next twist in the long development of a remake of The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty has just struck Hollywood – Sacha Baron Cohen is the latest name rumored to be starring in the film, according to Pajiba. Adapted from 1947’s Danny Kaye comedy, Walter Mitty is one of those movies that attracts major talent, but can’t ever seem to make it to the screen. First mooted in 1994 with Jim Carrey starring for New Line, it’s been passed like a brightly wrapped present at a child’s birthday present between studios and directors, with Paramount and DreamWorks both involved, Ron Howard briefly attached and Steven Spielberg making it one of the 73,000 films he’s planned to direct over the years. Carrey dropped out, Owen Wilson became attached, and Spielberg just couldn’t find the time (he is, after all, a very busy man). And not to mention the screenplays – half the script doctors in LA and beyond have had their paws on it. Now 20th Century Fox, whi
