The Runaways Movie Review By: Windy Please make sure to stop by Windy's site to check out her adventures at the premiere of the film "Remember Me" and all things fun. “The Runaways”, directed by Floria Sigismondi and starring Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning, Stella Maeve, Scout Taylor-Compton, Alia Shawkat and Michael Shannon, is the story of the 1970’s all-girl rock band that broke the rock and roll mold. There were no girl rock and roll bands at the time, and thanks to Joan Jett, The Runaways were born leading the way for future all-girl bands. Jett, played by Kristen Stewart, bravely and casually approaches record producer Kim Fowley (Shannon) outside of a night club and states with conviction “I want to start an all girl rock band.” That’s all it took for the idea of The Runaways to be born. Sofia Vergara To Star In Upcoming Smurf Film Sofia Vergara who stars in the hit series Modern Family, will be a busy young lady the next few months.  We have news that she will be starring in the upcoming live-action Smurfs movie and she was also cast to voice a character in Happy Feet 2. She's set to play "Odile, a powerful executive at a high-end French cosmetics company who is married to the live-action character played by Neil Patrick Harris."  Hey I would cast her as Smurfalicious , if I was the casting director for the film. Vergara's will also have a role in the upcoming Happy Feet 2 film, which will also be starring Brad Pitt, Robin Williams, Elijah Wood and Hank Azaria. Graphic Novel SOCOM: SEAL Team Seven To Made Into A Film Dean Parisot wants to take a shot at directing a graphic novel, and the novel that he has is eyes on is M Zachary Sherman’s 2006 graphic novel SOCOM: SEAL Team Seven, which sees the titular force investigating a downed submarine in the Persian Gulf.  Things take a turn for the fantastical when the troops discover that the underwater kingdom of Atlantis might have been behind the sunken sub and that the city’s forces don’t take kindly to armed strangers. Parisot is best known for his work on sci-fi comedy "Galaxy Quest" and Jim Carrey's comedy "Fun With Dick and Jane" Didn't we have a Navy Seal film that came out in the early 90's that stared Charlie Sheen and Michael Biehn. you know the film I am talking about. If you forgot here you go.  Dam I do enjoy this movie. Walden Media is developing the film version, though there’s no word on a studio picking it up directly yet. Please Leave

Japanese Trailer For The Last Airbender Here is the Japanese Trailer for The Last Airbender. Doesn't the  trailer just sounds cooler in Japanese. Maybe because it is something different then the movie guys voice that we hear on every trailer here in the states. In the trailer we get more of  the visual side of the film from this clip, compared to the U.S. version. The film comes out on July 2nd here in the states and is released in Japan on July 30th. When I lived in the Japan they always got the movie about a month behind the release on base or in the states,  never could figure that out. Please Leave A Comment-

New Iron Man 2 TV Spot I didn't have the pleasure of watching Kids’ Choice Awards 2010, had to get my floors done at the house. But we did get something out of it a new Iron Man 2 spot. Godzilla To Rise Again For  Legendary Pictures No one can keep a good man down. Godzilla is set to make his return. 55 years and 28 movies later, and one starring my Father yes that's right I said father he starred in Gojira VS Mekagojira, my father played Dr. Asimov who is the man behind Mekagojira.  Legendary Pictures is looking to do another major movie with the iconic horror monster (they are in early discussions), although there are No details at this point other than this should be a reboot. Burger King Horror Villains In Ads For Late Night Burger King is pulling out all the Big guns for there late night promotion’s.  Jason, Freddy, Chucky and that dude from Scream they will all be featured in Burger Kings new late night ad.  Promoting that they are open late night. Thomas and Kris came up with the following campaign showing the villains of the night that we know all to well, enjoying their favorite meal after a umm night out. The ads were shot in South Africa and Dubai by French photographer Ben Dauchez and retouched by Thomas himself. A job well done! The series comprises of four ads which will run in press and outdoor.
