Captain America To Begin Filming In June 2010 Director Joe Johnston, whose next film The Wolfman hits theaters on February 12, revealed to Fangoria that Marvel Studios is planning a June start for The First Avenger: Captain America. The start is mentioned in an article on Johnston taking over as director for The Wolfman: Principal photography was now less than four weeks away. “By the time I got on a plane and arrived, it was three,” recalls Johnston, speaking from the art department of THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA, which he’s readying for a June start." Charlie Sheen Arrested In An Alleged Domestic Violence Case A police spokeswoman in Aspen, Colo., says Charlie Sheen has posted bond and been released from jail hours after he was arrested in an alleged domestic violence case. Stephanie Dasaro says the "Two and a Half Men" star posted $8,500 bond Friday after speaking with a county judge and was advised on the conditions of his release. Officers arrested the 44-year-old actor Friday morning after responding to a 911 call from a house in the ski resort town. Sheen was taken into custody for investigation of second-degree assault and menacing, both felonies, along with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Dasaro declined to name the accuser, citing a department policy prohibiting the identification of potential victims in domestic violence cases. In October, studio COO Frederick Huntsberry delivered a presentation to the FCC that detailed how "Star Trek" had become a hot commodity in piracy circles. Illegal file-sharing had advanced from "geek to sleek," he said. Now, according to data from TorrentFreak, "Star Trek" was downloaded nearly 11 million times this past year, just edging "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" in total downloads. Interestingly, for all the fuss about the "Wolverine" leak, the film barely makes the top 10. Meanwhile, Guy Ritchie's "RocknRolla" was the third most pirated film this year. Jet Li's Warlords Trailer The film is set in the 1860s, during the Taiping Rebellion in the late Qing Dynasty in China. The story, based on an unresolved crime in 1870, tells of three sworn brothers (played by Jet Li, Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro) who are forced to turn against one another due to the harsh realities of war and political intrigue.
