Bryan Singer's Battlestar Galactica Movie In Pre-Production?

Bryan Singer's Battlestar Galactica Movie In Pre-Production The Reboot of Battlestar Galactica the series aired on the Sci-Fi Channel (it's SyFy these days) for 4 seasons (2004-2009), and was re-imagined by Ronald D. Moore and David Erick. The series won several Emmy's over the years , a Peabody Award, and TV Critics Choice award. Now it seems that director/producer Bryan Singer is teaming up with Larson to make a Battlestar Galactica movie for the big screen, ditching and dissing the fan favorite Ronald Moore version. It seems that Larson was not a big fan of the Moore reboot, and wants to develop the original version of Galactica, keeping the original premise and storyline, making it more action oriented, geared for adults. Singer had originally intended to remake the original series for the small screen back in 2000, but the director was distracted by other endeavors and the project stalled. That's when Moore took over. Now that pre-production has started, any rumor

Risk Board Game Making It's Way To Theaters

Risk Board Game Making It's Way To Theaters Sony Pictures have picked up the rights to Risk, Hasbro's strategy game in which players vie for global hegemony by destroying each other's armies and generally hanging around in Greenland. Risk is one adaptation that's come out of leftfield, even considering Hollywood's recent rush to transform everything dice-related into movie properties. Unlike Candyland and Monopoly, the game has no obvious universe or characters, aside from little plastic men with cannon, although it does offer a globally-recognised brand Sony are no doubt keen to exploit. A 'risky' business then? Tssk, says Columbia president Doug Belgrad. "The strategic thinking and the tactical gambles that players must take in the game are what make Risk a classic, thoroughly engaging game. Those elements translated into an action-packed, thrilling story are what will make this a uniquely exciting movie." Please Leave A Comment- Source- Empire

Jerry Bruckheimer Talks Pirates 4

Jerry Bruckheimer Talks Pirates 4 Collider got their hand on Jerry Bruckheimer and asked him three important questions about Pirates of the Caribbean 4. I asked what’s up with the script, when are they going to shoot the film, and did the regime change cause any problems. He told me they’ve gotten the script, the management change will not affect the production, and he believes they’ll be filming next year. Of course things change along the way, but the way he spoke to me about the project, I believe the Black Pearl is going to be looking for the Fountain of Youth quite soon. Twilight Saga-Eclipse Teaser Poster

Twilight Saga-Eclipse Teaser Poster Here's are first look at a teaser poster for Twilight Saga- Eclipse. Eclipse is currently filming in Vancouver, under the direction of David Slade. The Director of Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night. David is saying that The first one was very focused on this love story and really sweet and it was beautiful, but it didn’t have a lot of stuff that guys would go, ‘Yeah, I want to go see that.’ There’s going to be a lot more focus on [action], and the fight scene will have more emphasis on it. I definitely think it will be a little more guy-friendly. Dave Lizewski doesn't have superpowers, isn't particularly strong or smart, and isn't extraordinary in any way… aside from his desire to be a hero. Donning a scuba suit, a ski mask, and a pair of clubs, Dave hits the underworld hard in his new persona of Kick-Ass. Though not as hard -- at first anyway -- as they hit him when he's severely beaten and hospitalized as a result of his first street fight. No one said being a hero was going to be easy… Hit-Girl is just your ordinary, run-o

Ghost Rider 2 Going To Be A Sequel

Ghost Rider 2 Going To Be A Sequel Not A Reboot David Goyer ("Batman Begins") is toning down a script he wrote for a friendlier PG rating tone. Goyer tells MTV News: "It's not exactly a reboot," said Goyer, who's currently hard at work on his "FlashForward" television series. "I hate to say it's more realistic, because he's got a flaming skull for a head, but it's a bit more stripped down and darker. It's definitely changing tone. What 'Casino Royale' was to the Bond movies, hopefully this will be to 'Ghost Rider.'" The "Ghost Rider" sequel is planned to "roll before cameras next year," according to Goyer, who also said that Nicolas Cage is currently still attached to the lead role of Johnny Blaze. "This story picks up eight years after the first film," said Goyer. "You don't have to have seen the first film. It doesn't contradict anything that happened in the firs
