BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

True Blood Season 3 Huge Spoilers

True Blood Season 3 Huge Spoilers You have been warned do not read if you do not want to know what will be happening in Season 3 of True Blood. 1. Bill won't be back for a while. Ball confirmed that the arc of Bill's kidnapping will last "about six episodes." That sounds like just enough time to put Sookie (Anna Paquin) through the wringer, but not enough to try viewers' patience. Plus, we'll probably still get to see Bill deal with his captors in episodes 1-5. 2. Meet the Merlottes. Shape-shifter Sam (Sam Trammell) will find his family this year, and Tucker gets to write their characters a lot in episode two. "I'm getting to write Sam's family, which is a lot of fun, and, really, I feel really satisfying as a character arc," she said. "I really am glad that he's taking this journey and he's learning about himself. I find that interesting. They aren't the brightest people, maybe. At least they appear that way. They're fai

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Volturi Featurette The Volturi are the equivalent of a royal family to vampires. They operate from the city of Volterra , Italy. The Volturi have existed for at least three thousand years, if not more. They are the largest coven in existance , followed by Carlisle's family and Tanya's. However, they do not follow a "vegetarian" diet, as seen in New Moon, in which they capture and murder several humans in a carefully planned "meal". They are considered the de facto royal family of vampires, as they are the largest and most influential coven in existence . The Volturi deal swiftly and decisively with anything they consider a threat to their city, or the vampire world. They destroy anyone who attempts to overthrow them, or resist t

"Paranormal Activity" To Get A Sequel

"Paranormal Activity" To Get A Sequel Let's remember a little film called " The Blair Witch Project " and what a surprise film that it was and then Bam we get a sequel " Book of the Shadows: Blair Witch 2 " one of the worst movies I have ever seen. So Paramount be very careful how you go about making a sequel to such a great film and don't kill the effects the first movie had on all of us. With a horrible sequel it could kill the effects of the first film. During Viacom's earnings call Tuesday, CEO Philippe Dauman said the movie has been one of those surprise hits that comes along only rarely, grossing $85 million in the U.S. already. Given that a follow-up release wouldn't have the same element of surprise as "Paranormal," it will be key to craft a smart approach to a sequel, he said. "Our team will come up with the right creative and marketing approach to make sure that we benefit from a sequel," Dauman said.

Chris Pine To Star Ben Afflecks "Blade Itself"

Chris Pine To Star Ben Afflecks "Blade Itself" I had no reservations with Chris Pine playing Captain Kirk. I really enjoyed his role as Darwin Tremor in Smokin' Aces . And you know he will be tied to the Star Trek Franchise for a long while. I feel that he is a versatile enough actor to take on a more serious role in a film. I am curious to see what he can do with this movie. In late 2007, soon after the critical success of Ben Affleck’s directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone, it was announced that Affleck, along with his writing and producing partner on Gone, Sean Bailey, had adapted the rights to Marcus Sakey’s crime novel, The Blade Itself. The novel is about two childhood friends — boys who grew up committing petty crimes with one another — who are reunited and discover how different they have become as adults. One of the men will have to make a tough decision if he wants to protect the secrets of his past. The novel was set in Chicago, though with Affleck and Bailey invol

Sylvester Stallone Talks Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis In 'Expendables'

Sylvester Stallone Talks Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis In 'Expendables' EW got an Exclusive with Sylvester Stallone and talked to him about the roles that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis will be playing in the upcoming film "Expendables" If you were in your teens in the late 80's early 90's you always thought how cool would it be to see Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone in a film together kicking ass. Well your time has come. “I was just looking at the dailies, saying, ‘Jesus, this is amazing!’ I talked about this scene with these guys for a long time, but I never thought it would come to fruition.” Stallone said the superstar-summit scene takes place in a church, where Willis’ nasty antagonist has summoned Stallone’s macho mercenary to finally meet him face-to-face, take measure of him, and possibly hire him for a death-defying mission. But just as the meeting gets under way and smartass smalltalk is made, in walks anot

“Ouija” Movie Has Found It's Writers

“Ouija” Movie Has Found It's Writers Universal has tapped “Tron Legacy” writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz to pen the board game-to-screen adaptation, which is being produced by Platinum Dunes’ Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form as well as Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir of Hasbro. The studio is looking at the project as a supernatural action-adventure movie. It is possible that certain rules of the game — never use it alone, never use it in a graveyard, always say good-bye — figure into the plot. Ouija boards, also known as spirit or talking boards, have been used to communicate with the spirit world for more than 200 decades. The board as its known today was manufactured by William Fuld in the 1890s, then acquired by Parker Bros. in 1966. Since then, 12 million copies have been sold, according to Hasbro, which acquired Parker Bros. in 1991. Please Leave A Comment- Source- THR

Adrian Pasdar Let Go From NBC's 'Heroes'

Adrian Pasdar Let Go From NBC's 'Heroes' According to Deadline.com Adrian Pasdar was let go from the NBC show Heroes. Looks like we found out which main character will not be coming back to Heroes this year, Adrian Pasdar is gone. This has not been confirmed by NBC, so maybe a rumor. I am sure we will find out in due time. I was hooked from the first season, there wasn't a show like it on TV. Blew my mind. Then came the second season and third, #u$king Horrible. But I did still bought the entire collection on DVD just to have them. And now the fourth season has me hanging on by a thin thread. It is nowhere near as good as the first season. Still, Adrian Pasdar's forced exit is surprising unless flying is no longer considered a cool enough capability. More likely is that the show keeps suffering lousy ratings because it never recovered from being interrupted during the writers strike. (Poor Tim Kring was collateral damage as well as his Heroes sequel.

This news comes from the Financial Times' Matthew Garrahan who says the rights auction is for new Terminator films, TV programs and other spin-offs (Because we all know The Sarah Connor Chronicles on Fox did so well, right?) that build on the popularity of the franchise. The sale is being conducted by FTI Capital Advisors for Halcyon which bought the Terminator rights 2 years ago for $25M from Mario Kassar. Halcyon recently filed for Chapter 11 after a dispute with Pacificor, a Santa Barbara-based hedge fund that lent Halcyon the sum to buy the Terminator rights
