First of all, I think they should’ve kept the memoir title for the movie, Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, doesn't that sound awesome! But of course I understand that the marketing folks would have a hard time getting approval to plaster that on billboards and TV spots. Secondly, BEING FLYNN forcefully uses the condition of the homeless for its agenda, it’s basically a story of a son who doesn't want to live in his father’s shadow and a delusional, stubborn father who thinks his son owes him the world. Today Columbia Pictures has unleashed the trailer for Men in Black 3 featuring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones . Men In Black 3 finds Smith’s Agent J having to travel back in time to save a young K ( Josh Brolin ) and stop yet another world-threatening disaster. With a director (Scott Cooper) and leading man ( Christian Bale ) now either in place or negotiating, gritty thriller Out Of The Furnace is pushing ahead with filling out the rest of the cast. If Cooper gets his way, Avatar’s Zoe Saldana will take on a major role. Furnace finds Bale as an ex-con fresh out of the slammer attempting to go on the straight and narrow. But first there’s the little matter of avenging his younger brother’s death. If she signs, Saldana will play Bale’s ex-wife, who works as a waitress and is now somewhat inconveniently married to the town’s sheriff. Robert Duvall is on to play Bale’s uncle and Cooper has Viggo Mortensen interested in the role of the villain. Another key piece of the upcoming second season of FX’s hit drama series American Horror Story has fallen into place. Zachary Quinto , who did a scene-stealing four-episode arc on the first season of the Ryan Murphy/Brad Falchuk drama as the Harmon house’s doomed former co-owner Chad Warwick , will be back as a series regular in Season 2, joining Jessica Lange . Like Lange, he will play a brand new character next season, which is set at an East Coast institution. What’s more, I have learned that Quinto will play one of two male leads and the nemesis to Lange’s character, which will be at the center of the Season 2 storyline. The part is sure to draw parallels to Quinto’s breakout role as uber-villain Syler on Heroes. There’s nothing more frustrating than an average movie, you can’t fully like it and you can’t get yourself to fully hate it either. It’s one of those cases where you’re grateful for certain characters that exist, otherwise you’d throw a tantrum. Idris Elba ’s film career is going great guns at the moment, with a heartily varied range of roles. And now it looks like he wants to try his hand at being truly menacing. He’s signed on to co-star with Taraji P Henson in the thriller No Good Deed . The act of charity in question involves Henson as a former District Attorney who has opted to become a stay-at-home-mom to her two children. Their lives take a turn for the scare-shaped when they offer a ride to a compelling stranger whose car runs off the road in front of them. Cue kidnapping, terror and, we’d expect, Henson getting the chance to be tough. Clearly, there is a lesson to be learned from all of this: do not ever five strangers a ride from the side of the road even if they are as seemingly as charming and handsome as Idris Elba .
