Relativity Media’s President of Worldwide Production, Tucker Tooley, and Edward R. Pressman, producer behind the cult-classic The Crow franchise, announced today they have attached Alex Tse ( Watchmen ) to write their reinvention of The Crow , the 1994 critically acclaimed, sensation based on the comic book series and comic strip by James O’Barr. Don’t expect the Avengers to reassemble in Hall H at Comic-Con International in July. The official word from Marvel Studios is that their team will sit out the Hollywood previews in the 6,000-seat hall, where fans, bloggers and journalists from around the world come to see filmmakers and stars introduce and promote their upcoming spectacle movies. Last year, Marvel delivered a thunderclap moment by lining up the cast of “ The Avengers ” on stage — it was a surprise parade of stars that included Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans as well as director Joss Whedon. With Comic-Con quickly approaching The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed has compiled an early look at what, in some cases, is confirmed and other cases rumored to be heading to Comic-Con International. The wait is nearly over for Transformers fans. Paramount has set June 28 as the opening date for Transformers: Dark of the Moon , which will screen exclusively at 3D and IMAX-equipped locations nationwide. “Michael Bay has created an incredibly engaging and immersive 3D experience with this latest movie, one that will undoubtedly be among the most entertaining movie going experiences of the summer,” said Paramount’s vice chairman Rob Moore. “Providing fans an opportunity to see it early in 3D is a great way to kick off the movie’s opening.” Those not wanting to see the film in 3-D will have to wait a day, as the movie opens wide from 12 a.m. onwards June 29. This came out of nowhere. On Saturday me and my family were watching A Minute To Win it and Steve O and Ryan Dunn were on the show. And now this news. Jackass star Ryan Dunn died early Monday morning in a car crash. He was 34. NBC Philadelphia reports that Dunn and another passenger died at 2:30 a.m. in West Goshen, Pennsylvania. Police said the car slammed into a tree and burst into flames. S Bam Margera's mother, April, confirmed the news to a local radio station, 93.3 WMMR, and also to TMZ.com .
