Who Would You Choose? Chris Nolan is lining up actresses he'll meet for two female lead roles in The Dark Knight Rises , the third installment of the Batfranchise which Warner Bros has dated release on July 20, 2012. I'm told one of the roles is a love interest for Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne, and the other is a villain. The actresses are: Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway and Keira Knightley . Nolan is keeping the roles under wraps, just the way that he did when he drafted his Inception star Tom Hardy to come aboard to likely play a villain. Deadline broke that story October 13. I'm still not sure what the role is and I believe Hardy took the job without knowing or reading a script that's still being tweaked. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Deadline

Colin Farrell To Play Quaid Sony has offered Colin Farrell the lead role in Columbia Pictures' " Total Recall " remake. Farrell received the offer last week and has since been in negotiations with Sony. He would play a man tortured by recurring dreams of a trip to Mars, a role that was played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the original 1990 pic. Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender also had been considered for the role. The "Total Recall" reboot, to be directed by Len Wiseman from a script by Kurt Wimmer, will contemporize author Philip K. Dick's source story, "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale." Farrell's casting would help contemporize the pic, offering a stark contrast to Schwarzenegger's persona. Jon Favreau Got His Mickey Ears On Jon Favreau is in talks to direct Magic Kingdom , the Disney film with the premise that the attractions at the venerable theme park come to life. The studio set the project up nearly two years ago and got a draft by Battlestar Galactica's Ron Moore, but a new writer will be set and work on a new draft under Favreau.  Favreau will be signing a development deal, because the project will percolate while he works on other big scale studio films. He just completed Cowboys & Aliens , the DreamWorks/Universal co-production that stars Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford . Favreau will finish that film for release on July 29, 2011, and he is expected to re-team with Robert Downey Jr . for a third Iron Man . Channing Tatum To Go Undercover Channing Tatum has jumped to the top of the list for the lead of Sony Pictures's 21 Jump Street . I'm told that Tatum will soon be in negotiations to star alongside Jonah Hill. Production will begin in the spring. Based on the 1987 Stephen J. Cannell series that was one of the Fox Network's early successes and launched Johnny Depp , the movie was scripted by Michael Bacall based on a story he hatched with Hill. The film will be directed by Cloudy with the Chance of Meatballs helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller. I'm told that the studio has met with a bunch of potential leading men and that Tatum and Hill matched up well.
