Arrested Development Movie To Begin Filming Soon

Arrested Development Movie To Begin Filming Soon Speaking exclusively with ComingSoon.net on Sunday at the press junket for When in Rome, Will Arnett confirmed that an Arrested Development feature film should go into production sometime this year. "I'm so glad you asked that," joked Arnett, who has been questioned about the series' fate since it went off the air in 2006. "It's very refreshing. We are working on the movie right now, yeah... We don't have a completed script yet, but it's forthcoming and we're going to make the movie this year." When asked if he thought the cameras would actually roll before year's end, Arnett seemed resolute. "That's the plan," said the actor in earnest, before deadpanning, "We're hoping once Jason Bateman gets out of rehab. I think that we're going to start shooting. Oh, was I not supposed to...? Please don't air that." Please Leave A Comment- Source- comingsoon

Fast & Furious Films Are Getting A Move According to Vin Diesel

Fast & Furious Films Are Getting A Move According to Vin Diesel With Fast & Furious making $343 million worldwide last year, on a budget of about $85 million, it was a given that Universal Pictures would be interested in making another movie. Talking to his fans on Facebook , Vin Diesel revealed that the studio is actually working on two more! He said... If 2009's 'Fast and Furious' was chapter one, what writer Chris Morgan just delivered is Chapter 2 and chapter 3. I have never been submitted a two story saga from a studio before... it is very exciting, and shows a commitment level that is hard not to respond to. Excited about the sexy locations the filming of this saga would take us... this novel like story, that has twists and unexpected turns that is authentic, truthful and challenging to the characters. Diesel added on his page that he will also soon be providing updates on Riddick, another XXX movie and his passion project about General Hannibal Barca. Plea...

Happy Birthday Little Sister

Happy Birthday Little Sister I want to wish my little sister a Happy Birthday . We don't get to see each other very often due to the fact she doesn't live in California. So there is no way I can give her a hard time in person, so I thought I would embarrass her on the internet and show her how much I love her. Again. Happy Birthday!!

Simon Cowell Calls It Quits On American Idol

Simon Cowell Calls It Quits On American Idol Cowell will quit the top-rated show on television at the end of this season as part of his plan to focus on launching a new series, "The X-Factor." Fox has picked up "Factor" for the fall of 2011, when "Idol" is on hiatus. Cowell's decision to walk away from his estimated $36 million-per-season "Idol" gig could have major consequences for the show, which has declined in the ratings in recent years. Given that Cowell was the most expensive part of producing "Idol," however, Fox could end up with a more profitable show, even if ratings drop due to losing its most popular judge. Fox chairman Peter Rice and entertainment president Kevin Reilly officially announced the "Factor" pickup and Cowell's "Idol" departure today at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour in Pasadena. "In my opinion it's like having a good player on a good football te...

Metal Gear Solid Film Not Going To Happen

Metal Gear Solid Film Not Going To Happen Collider got an Exclusive Interview with Mike De Luca. A few days ago I spoke to De Luca for almost an hour about a variety of subjects, one of which was Metal Gear Solid. According to De Luca, the Metal Gear Solid movie is no longer happening. He explains why after the jump: The first thing you need to know before going any further is things change all the time in Hollywood. While De Luca told me, “I don’t think it’s going to move forward because I got the sense that there may not be enough of a coordinated will at this point on the side of certain parties to see a movie get made,” that doesn’t mean it’s dead forever. Perhaps if Prince of Persia does extremely well for Walt Disney, Sony and Konami might sit back down and try to get this movie made one more time. But for now, it isn’t happening. The way De Luca spoke, it seems like Sony tried extremely hard to get this project off the ground, but the video game makers might have been the c...

Diablo Cody Talks "Breathers" And "Sweet Valley High"

Diablo Cody Talks "Breathers" And "Sweet Valley High" As for Breathers: A Zombie's Lament the film is another horror-comedy written by Geoff LaTulippe based on a novel S.G. Browne in which Cody will produce. “We have a script and I am thrilled with it and hope we can go into production with it soon,” says Cody. “It’s a zombie love story. Zombies are so hot now, but I like to think it’s about the personal side of being a zombie and being ostracized.” Also on tap for Cody is an adaptation of the popular ‘80s teen novels SWEET VALLEY HIGH . “I just started writing it,” says Cody. “I’m very excited about that. It’s classic ‘80s series of books about these twins Elizabeth and Jessica and it’s going to be set in the ‘80s and true to the source material.” Please Leave A Comment- Source- IF

Blake Lively Nabs Role Of Carol Ferris In Green Lantern

Blake Lively Nabs Role Of Carol Ferris In Green Lantern Blake Lively has nabbed the female lead opposite Ryan Reynolds in Warner Bros.' "Green Lantern." Lively will play Carol Ferris, who runs her father's aerospace company and hires cocky test pilot Hal Jordan (Reynolds), who later becomes the intergalactic policeman Green Lantern. In the comics, the romance became complicated when an alien race bestowed her the power of a crystal called the Star Sapphire. The search for the Martin Campbell-directed film's leading lady was almost as intense as the one for its title star. Keri Russell and Jennifer Garner were reportedly among those in the mix for the role. The role called for a slightly older actress but Lively, who stars in the CW's "Gossip Girl," impressed the studio and filmmakers with her audition. Warners was also impressed with her work in "The Town," its adaptation of the gritty Chuck Hogan novel directed by Ben Affleck now in post-p...

Fox's Glee Picked Up For Season 2

Fox's Glee Picked Up For Season 2 Was this really a surprise, since I got a glimpse of the show at comic con, I knew I was going to love this show and it turns out so do a lot of other people. The "Glee" casting competition gets underway in February, and will be produced as a multi-part special to air in late summer , leading to the fall launch of "Glee's" sophomore season. "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy said the second season competish is in the vein of his initial talent search to find "Glee's" breakout cast. "Anybody and everybody now has a chance to be on a show about talented underdogs," Murphy said. "We want to be the first interactive musical comedy on television." In picking up "Glee" early, Fox Entertainment pre...

Harrison Ford Talks Indiana Jones Follow Up Film

Harrison Ford Talks Indiana Jones Follow Up Film I will be the first to tell you that I am a huge Indiana Jones fan, but the last film was so bad. Nothing good about it at all. They should change the term jumping the shark to getting blown up in the fridge . I know that the movie was made for the next generation of film goers and not for the die hard but dam. It was a bad film. "I think it would be interesting to advance the understanding of the character, as we always have had that ambition throughout the series," Ford said of his hopes for a "Crystal Skull" follow-up. "I think it would be interesting to deepen the relationship between he and his son [Mutt, played by Shia LaBeouf] and play on that relationship. ... It's full of opportunity. The series is full of opportunity." It's been known for awhile now that series-runners Ford, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg have been kicking around ideas for more Indy. Ford himself admitted that the ...

Invictus Movie Review By:Windy

Invictus Movie Review By:Windy Windy , what more can we say here over at SandwichJohnFilms. But thank you and keep them coming. Make sure you go check out her site and let her know what a great job she is doing. Out of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll. I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. - William Ernest Henley- On February 11, 1990, Nelson Mandela was released from prison after 27 years of incarceration. The above poem, Invictus, fueled his strength while imprisoned and helped provide him the courage to lead South Africa...
