Johnny Depp Wants To Make Cameo In The Upcoming 21 Jump Street Film Looks like Tom Hanson might be making a return to the upcoming movie 21 Jump Street. In an interview for this week’s EW cover story, Johnny Depp–who became a reluctant 1980s teen idol thanks to his role as undercover officer Tom Hanson on the cop show 21 Jump Street–said he is interested in the idea of possibly making a cameo appearance in the planned Jump Street movie. “I’m hoping they’ll let me do a cameo,” Depp said with a laugh. “Someone will say, ‘Whatever happened to Tom Hanson?’ and they’ll find me somewhere hoarding jars of peanut butter and shaking in my underpants.” The Jump Street movie is in development at Sony Pictures, with Jonah Hill on board to write, executive produce, and potentially star. Details About Lucas' Red Tails Reshoots This is odd. A good follow-up story to the "Red Tails"/George Lucas drama that bubbled up a week ago, that never seemed to make it online for some reason. You'll recall a week ago, rumors popped up that the George Lucas-produced WWII fighter planes drama centered around African American soldiers was having issues and apparently the director Anthony Hemingway had done such a poor job that Lucas himself had to step in and finish some key scenes and reshoot others. Lucasfilm quickly called these reports "inaccurate," but didn't elucidate further and we haven't heard much since (and if you watched Twitter that day, many bloggers in the film community didn't buy LucasFilm's denial). But EW's excellent reporter Nicole Sperling looked into the situation and seems to have found a logical explanation to a story that could have been inadvertently exaggerated to levels of melodrama. Brooklyn's Finest is an American crime film starring Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke and Don Cheadle. It is directed by Antoine Fuqua, and written by Michael C. Cop Out Movie Review By: SandwichJohn I will admit that I did not have very high hopes for Cop Out when I first saw the trailers. The latest trailer looked more promising but I was still not sure that I would really like this film. I am happy to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. This movie was hilarious! Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan have surprisingly good chemistry. The scenes with Seann William Scott were just fantastic. The films plot centers around Jimmy Monroe (played by Bruce Willis) and Paul Hodges (played by Tracy Morgan), two cops who are suspended from the NYPD at the start of the film. Jimmy needs to come up with $48,000 to pay for his daughters dream wedding so he decides to sell his most valuable baseball card. While at the card shop to have the card appraised he is robbed of both the card and Paul’s gun that he had loaned him. Seann William Scott plays Dave, one of the guys that rob him. Tron:Legacy Spoilers Revealed And Disneyland Update If you were unable to attend the Tron:Legacy special event on Saturday we have a break down on the footage and the Q and A with the director. I did notice that no site has talked about the question that was asked during the Q and A. Someone asked a Question "About the possibility of bringing a Tron Themed ride to Disneyland and also about turning the Starcade into Flynn's Arcade?" Joseph Kosinski just smiled and said "Just wait and see," I really hope they do bring something to Disneyland that has a Tron theme . How cool would that be to walk into Flynn's Arcade and play all those 80's video games with all the great music. I also included some footage I took during Comic Con 2009. The Three Musketeers Coming Soon With Out Taylor Lautner Taylor Lautner is in pretty well with Summit Entertainment, with two more Twilight films coming out, he was offered a role in the movie but has turned it down. Deadline has learned that Summit Entertainment has acquired domestic distribution rights for The Three Musketeers, a 3-D period adaptation of the Alexandre Dumas novel that will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. Constantin Films and Impact Pictures are producing a film that will be shot in “real 3-D.” The action will be shot in Babelsberg Studios in Germany, and on location in France. The late summer start gives Anderson a decided advantage over a rival film based on Dumas’ swordsmen that has taken root at Warner Bros. That film was conjured up by producer Lionel Wigram with a stylized take similar to the one that breathed life into Sherlock Holmes.
