The critically-acclaimed epic adventure Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion will air on ABC on Sunday, October 26 (7:00 p.m. ET/PT). Executive Producer Dave Filoni states, "We wanted to do something special for the ABC broadcast. We've added a scene which gives audiences insight into the Inquisitor and includes a cameo by Darth Vader voiced by the distinguished actor James Earl Jones ." Fans of Dave Filoni's animated series, The Clone Wars , found their glasses half empty when it was announced recently that the show would be coming, somewhat unexpectedly, to an end. Yet, very quickly, their glasses were half-filled, their frowns were turned upside down, and their dark side turned to the light side as it was revealed that Filoni was hard at work on Star Wars Rebels , a new animated series which will bridge the gap between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope . At Star Wars Celebration Europe, in Essen, Germany, Empire looked on as Filoni, sporting his trademark cowboy hat, revealed a little more about the show. Although he declined to state exactly how far after the events of Sith the show would take place, he did reveal a new logo, and a host of new concept art, which is visually inspired by the unused concept sketches that Ralph McQuarrie drew for the original movies. Family Affair In Upcoming Clone Was Episode George Lucas will finally see some action in the world of Star Wars . He will be guest stariing in an upcoming Clone Wars episode. The episode which stars Lucas can be seen on Friday on October 1st. He will be taking on the role of Chairman Papanoida, who was modeled after himself. Here is what Lucas had  to say about his role in the press release: My appearance in ' Episode III' was just for fun. Mostly, I did it for my kids," says Lucas. "I was wrapping the series, and I'd never been on-screen in a 'Star Wars' film, even though I'd been making them for decades.
