You know she’s the most terrifying mannequin this side of Fats in Magic. Now her backstory will be explored in this prequel tale, which gets its title from her name… Annabelle finds a young couple ( Annabelle Wallis and Ward Horton ) preparing for the arrival of their first child. As a surprise, hubbie has tracked down the one doll the mother-to-be was seeking to complete a collection of apparently weird period figurines. Before anyone has time to wonder why this thing is appropriate for any child, we start to see that this is a truly dreadful decorative decision. Yes, Annabelle is a demon doll, possessed by a very possessive spirit who enjoys causing chaos and killing people in a variety of horrific ways. HBO has finally debuted the first full-length exciting trailer for True Blood ’s upcoming season six. With a tagline that says “ No One Lives Forever ,” one can wonder who will make it out of what looks to be another bloody great season of the hit fantasy vampire series. With God Bill ( Stephen Moyer ) wreaking some fiery bloody havoc, and a score of brand-new characters joining the citizens of Bon Temps—including Rutger Hauer as Macklyn and Rob Kazinsky as Sookie’s new faerie love interest Ben—blood will spill and many shirts will be ripped off. It’s been a long wait, but True Blood finally returns for its fifth season on Sunday. When we last saw the residents of Bon Temps, many of them were suffering from serious threats from supernatural forces. Bill ( Stephen Moyer ) and Eric ( Alexander Skarsgard ) had just killed off Nan Flanagan ( Jessica Tuck ), a member of the Vampire Authority. Jason Stackhouse ( Ryan Kwanten ) was in a fight with his best friend Hoyt ( Jim Parrack ) after he slept with Hoyt’s vampire ex-girlfriend, Jessica ( Deborah Ann Woll ). Sam (Sam Trammell ) had been cornered by a group of angry-looking werewolves (is there any other kind?). And finally, Terry ( Todd Lowe ) had a surprise visit from a Marine buddy ( Scott Foley ) -- and we all know that in Bon Temps, visitors usually mean trouble. True-Blood.net  & True Blood the series were invited back to PaleyFest just 2 years after their first appearance, an honor we believe has never before been bestowed. Last night, in front of a sold-out venue, sixteen cast members and “keeper of secrets” Alan Ball answered questions about their characters’ growth and teased more about what’s coming up in season 4. (We’ll save the spoilers for the end in case you’re avoiding them.) The event opened with a “relevant highlight” selected from the Paley Center vault: a scene from the pilot episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Good choice! Following a brief introduction by a Paley Center official, Alan Ball took the stage to introduce a compilation reel from True Blood seasons 1-3, promising a “special bonus scene from season 4″ at the end. We expected it to be the glee-inducing clip of Eric posted online earlier in the evening, but no, we were treated to yet another fresh clip, which will be discussed under the Spoilers header below.
